It…read morehas changed my professional life - which of course is rooted in my changed personal life. 10 years ago, I was focused on understanding problems and creating solutions in the world "out there." That's, so I thought, is what I get paid for. I had the conviction that we were relatively well equipped to identify and interact with the world "out there" - which included the popular and politically correct relativism, cultural sensitivity, and the notion of personal view points. Today that looks a little comical - in a good natured sort of a way. Yes, the training of NLP Marin offers tools, communication and interpersonal skills, and powerful frameworks that help us make sense of the world in very different ways. They are totally worth the price of admission and you are getting a great deal. They don't not even begin to describe the value of the training. The best way I can describe it, so much of the value is about a quality of personal presence: intense curiosity, openness (as in suspending judgement), vulnerability (as in being willing to learn, be wrong, and safe enough in myself to expose myself...), and courage to do something - anything - when the time has come. Now, I have a deep appreciation for the interesting problems - the once you can't solve by paying for better expertise - where the solution is contained in the way we look at the problem. The solution is in our face but we don't see it. It is out of this personal presence that new questions arise. These questions shed new light on how we make meaning of our experience, what we are feeling, hidden assumptions in our thinking, and all the noise we are creating in an effort to stay safe - in a dance we put on together with everybody else. Priceless!!! Carl Buchheit, Michelle Masters, my teaching assistants and my community of peers have patiently hung in there with me (and still do today) as I am learning at my own pace to become more present to myself and make more useful distinctions about the world "in here" and how it dramatically affects the world "out there." There were 7 people in my class and half of us were home brewers and the other half were coffee professionals. I learned so much in this class! Jonathan broke down the steps of steaming the milk and pouring latte art and then we all got to practice on our own using a really fancy La Marzocco espresso machine that steamed the milk in seconds! Jonathan also provided troubleshooting tips for what to do if the milk doesn't turn out quite right, which I found helpful. The class was small enough to get a ton of practice and hands on guidance and feedback. I highly recommend this class if you're looking to learn or improve your latte art!

I used the…read moreprinter once, and he thought I was wasting ink (Although this rule is not written in the lease, agreement, contract, or posted notice) so kicked me out. my course certificate (which I spent $100 just to qualify for 3D printing) here became worthless. After I was kicked out, they refused to refund my membership fee and locker fee, but continued to charge me monthly rent and locker fees until I updated my credit card. And they refused to accept all of my emails, even though they were very important to me.
