On November 18, we were asked to pay a $500 deposit to start the case, which we did in good faith. Two days later, due to financial difficulties, we called to cancel. I was told I had to speak with an attorney, but the attorney never called. There was no notice or apology. When I followed up, the staff member I spoke with was dismissive and said there was "nothing she could do." I was later told to come in for a "free consultation," which required me to take time off work. I met with Eunice Cardona, who said she needed to speak with a manager about my refund. Weeks passed with no update. Eventually, Ashley Hass emailed me stating my refund was denied. When I asked why, I received no response. After following up again, Mónica L. Hernández-Santiago said the $500 deposit was used to cover the "initial consultation." So what happened to the FREE consultation they advertise, and why does the receipt say "Deposit" and not "Consultation Fee"? This experience was deceptive and frustrating. They provide free consultations, which is the only good thing they do. At the consultation after my parents had agreed they wanted them to represent them. The lawyers brought them the wrong contract. It was for a different person with the same name, this should've been our first sign to find another place. What kind of lawyers can't even keep their documents organized? The case was submitted and in April we received a notice that more information was due by June. My mom promptly submitted it directly to the associates who said they would submit it. It is October now and it is still not in the system. She called multiple times, but after her payments were all complete they wouldn't pick up or even call back. The physical that she submitted needs to be sealed, it cost $350 dollars and is now missing. We may have to redo it in order to proceed in the application process. I would not recommend them at all. You're better off finding a different place that cares about their costumers instead of their money. We made this mistake, please don't repeat it. Bad service we made contract for immigration case and the only thing was to take my money , I sign the contract on February 13 2024 whit the Lawyer Karla Weber and she assigned paralegal Fernanda Calzada to work in my case she call me on February 23 and she don't even know which case was taking , she sent me some forms for fill up I finish and sent on February 27 on march 8 I contact Fernanda to see what happen on my case and she that she don't receive any notification that I o ready finish the forms , she says we gone check and I call you back and 1 month more go away whit out any call o email ,I email the Karla on April 5 and she was upset for the email saying this case take time I know that but if you never contact the customer and explain o take the case seriously , are not why keep taking money and cases when they don't have time for attend , she request some documentes and I have ready but I have some questions about some and I contact again Fernanda she say to sent the documents by email to retail she refuses to meet me in the office , 2 weeks more and she never answer my email , I decide to cancel the services because they never work seriously on my case , I request the invoice for the services made to that point, 3 phone calls 4 emails and I meet the lawyer only 1 time they say this was for free consultation, the supervisor call me on may 7 and I explain everything and just go away never call me back, Im out the 3000 dollars because they decide to keep. read more

I am only writing a review for the location in Silver Spring. I have a case that I would like to have been notified about the process as it was going on but the only thing I relied on was my account that I had which I got notifications from there, the account has nothing to do with Sanabria & Associates it is a government account. Something thing that should have taken three months to get done has now gone to six months and counting. I need to renew so many things but I am unable to do so because of that one particular thing I am waiting that Sanabria Associates did for me. I have been without a license for driving for about three months now waiting for a renewal an application I submitted. Something was delivered for me from UPS and it was not my address but somewhere in a different city it has been around a month and no one has notified me about it. Called them all day since noon until they close the office trying to get someone to confirm with me that this item is at their office or not to proceed from there. Spent half my day getting declined calls and transferring from one line to another. Update: they called me back the next day to let me know they'ed had my package for almost a month now. WHY DID NO ONE CALL ME TO LET ME KNOW? Unprofessional. This is frustrating because it is not cheap to have paid $500 for the consultation and $450 more for the application. read more

A friend worked here recommended my husband and I use them for our immigration case. Our initial free consultation was Great! Emily our attorney explained everything well. Unfortunately, it went downhill from that initial experience. The "first step" was approved and we were on to the next step. Cindy our paralegal spent almost 3 hours on the phone with my husband and I to collect information to write up a "package" that would go out with our waiver application. She indicated that it would take 3 weeks to complete. I have called and emailed many times and only received 1 response 4 months later from our attorney Emily to indicate that "they are working on the package". There's never an apology for the silence in communication or the amount of time that they take after promising a certain timeframe. I think they have more cases then they can handle. After 4 months of waiting we were called in for an appointment to review the "package" for 10am. As I write this review which I wanted to wait until the end, I have been waiting 50 minutes in their office because they triple booked their "consultation room" and there isn't a private room for us to meet with anyone! It seems like clients time is not valued. They could've notifies us prior or scheduled us earlier or later so we're not wasting our time with 10 other people in the waiting area during COVID. The first and only time I came to this office to speak to one of the lawyers that was on Univision answering questions about Immigration matters, I was very very disappointed and completely turned down. When you walk into an office of lawyers and people high up there, you would expect lots of professionalism but I was very very disappointed. The 2 girls who sat at the front desk to "greet us" were extremely unprofessional.
