I was referred to and advised that Collin County ENT would take Tri-Care. Truth is that they do take Tri-Care and it is in network, but only as a secondary insurance, not a primary insurance (According to the receptionist that I spoke to it is office dependent, so they can make their own rules). So, what do veterans do when they do not have additional insurance? I think this is a very poor stance when your duties are to help. You only help when it benefits you as the Doctor. What a work-around to allow this organization to charge more for service. I know that doctors who support military veterans take more of a loss. It's a given but when you say you do but there's a catch, you are just spitting in the face of those who served to allow you to skate around the issue of possibly taking less money for the same payment. This is just so frustrating to know that I pay a lot for my military "Tri-Care Prime" insurance. More than most who may be transiting through this office (if they pay anything at all) but only to be told your second rate. Pathetic! I'm sure you have the ability to find my name. I spent close to 30 minutes pre-filling out docs to be prepared the day of the appointment. I showed up early an after check in waited in the lobby for 45 minutes. I even checked because 6 people that came in after me we sent back. A couple completed their visit and left before I was sent back. After I was sent back I was informed that it would be another 20-30 minutes before I saw the doctor. At this point I elected to get up and leave. I was asked if I wanted to call back to reschedule to which I declined. They obviously have too many patients if the wait times are this lengthy. I'm sure from the other review that they are fine doctors especially considering the patient load but to have this experience is rude and dis-courteous. I wouldn't dream of showing up to any appointment late like this.

After interviewing with several doctors, I wasn't happy with the rushed and impersonal interaction I had with them. My daughter, who resides in Dallas, suggested I go to the Nicholson Clinic. I cannot say enough about the great care that I received there. My surgery was performed by Drs. Long and Roshek. These surgeons are top notch, and I had total confidence in them. Their warm and wonderful bedside manner immediately put me at ease. I was treated like a person and not just a number. All of my many questions were thoroughly answered as well as having the whole surgical procedure explained to me in depth. My surgery was immediately scheduled. I underwent laparoscopic gallbladder removal with four tiny incisions. I was sent home the same day. My recovery has been a breeze, and one week later I am back to my usual routine. I am very grateful for Drs. Long and Roshek and will always remember how they took what was a very stressful time in my life and helped me through it with ease. Thank you Drs. For my first visit, Dr Lombardi had my chart out, we had a long consultation, he had read my history, and actually made me feel at ease about having to change docs. Dr Lombardi listens to my concerns, and in the 4 years or so that I have been going to him, I have never once felt rushed or not listened to. He does not stack his patients like many docs do. After the baby was delivered he clamped the placenta and left her in the hands of a visiting nurse. She was bleeding profusely and I begged the nurse to get a doctor. Her blood pressure dropped dangerously low and finally a very kind anesthesiologist came in. We later learned that she had to be resuscitated in the operating room. Dr. Lombardi never came back to check on her. She almost died because of his negligence. He never came in to apologize to us. Do not trust your baby to him.

I got allergy tested and decided to do allergy drops. It's costly because insurance doesn't cover but I will eat the cost if it means I can breathe better. Doctor Mullins saw me on my initial visit. It was pretty standard. No complaint. Korry did my allergy test and she communicated well. Walked me through every steps and gave me opportunity to stop if I was too much. And she also gave treatment options. I went with drops because I couldn't do the shots weekly. They are taking precautious during pandemic. Wait in your car when you arrive and call them. Somebody will come out, take your temperature and let you in Update. Everything was fine. What I don't understand is why they sent my Epi pen prescription to a mail order pharmacist instead of my pharmacist at cvs. I gave them all the info to my cvs already. I was not told it was a mail in prescription place either. Lack of communication could be better

Me and my husband, Boley finally made the decision that we needed to do something to improve our…read morehealth. He weighed over 350 lbs., and was developing all sorts of health issues that couldn't be explained by stress tests, MRI or CAT Scans. He was about to go to a Neurologist and put out who knows how much money for those tests. I have been Diabetic for over 20 years. My doctor had prescribed an insulin pump that I had been on for over a year because I was maxed out on all my meds and my Blood Sugars were consistently upwards of 220. I had been on Ozempic for over a year, and actually lost about 12 lbs. Then because so many doctors began giving it to patients for weight loss, I couldn't get it from my pharmacy for about 6 weeks. I gained all the weight back, and when I finally got back on it, here's the dirty little secret - the weight stayed. I couldn't lose it and I needed to lose about 70 lbs. We both snored and had both been prescribed C-pap masks, ( we never went that route), working out in our garden was a chore and soon became impossible. It was becoming intolerable. We had tried losing weight on our own and it was slow and soon we just gave up. We had talked about finding a weight loss program. There are lots of them on TV, but both of us had taken note of co-workers eating that food and it really didn't smell all that great, and we couldn't tell that it was doing much good. We also didn't want to become dependent of any pills or injections that we would be dependent on for the rest of our lives. We had heard Mark Davis and Rhonda K. Morland talking about SOTA on the Radio. As we looked into it we knew that it wasn't going to be cheap, mainly because between the two of us we had over 200lbs to let go of. It may sound silly, but one of my major concerns were the weekly weigh-ins that we were going to need to commit to. But do you know what? They have become the high point of our week. We absolutely love the Ladies at the Garland SOTA center there at the Firewall Plaza. Every Saturday since January we have made the 45+ minute drive to the office. Victoria, Jennifer, Jerusalem, and Audrey have become so dear to us. They have literally saved our lives. Especially my husband. During the past the 7 1/2 Months, he has been melting away. He has lost over 110 lbs. and I've lost 54 lbs. He has about 30 or so to go and I have about 16. Because the ladies at the Fire Wheel center are so wonderful, I have to say, that when we are done, I am really going to miss our visits. However- I will still look forward to our monthly visits while we maintain our weight. We have learned so much about the food that caused us to gain so much weight. I am now a perfect Diabetic. I'm just about off all of my medication. I was able to get rid of the Insulin pump within the first 6 weeks, and I've been reducing my other medication to a bare minimum. I have a strong family history, so I don't know if I will ever be free of it, but I am doing so much better. My husband Boley, is in the best health since he got out of the Army 30 yrs ago. All of his medical issues are gone, to include for the most part the Arthritis that has plagued him for years. The "Neurological" problems that he was dealing with have also disappeared. He used to ask his doctor, "Don't you think that I should lose weight?" they all discounted it and said that he was pretty healthy. Which led him to wonder, " then why do I feel like Crap?" Do you know how nice it is to be able to bend over and pick up things that have fallen to the floor, or to be sitting and realize that you are actually crossing your legs? Wearing your skinny clothes that you had put in the back of the closet. Being able to wear button Jeans and not just "stretchy" pants. This year has been an incredible journey. We had friends who at first wondered how long this fad would last, now they are pulling us aside and asking us what it is that we are doing. We brag on SOTA- It is State of the Art! I'm so disappointed in this company and the staff person, Victoria that misled me in spending…read morethousands of dollars for nothing to show but frustration and anger. This company takes advantage of people who are vulnerable, overweight and wanting to get healthy. Victoria told me that there were " doctors" on staff that could help clients if the weight loss was not working eating their foods. I tried eating their foods, following the schedule and for a month I lost 15lbs but the products and the "state of the art" weight loss strategies they promise with life time support is all a sham. They focus completely on what you weigh. They never took measurements. I never got to see a dr or get help when I plateaued. They're food did not help me stay in ketosis. Many of the foods would maje my sugar crash. They have nothing to offer you when you tell them this. They're standard response is asking you if you've logged on to their website to watch inspirational videos. The office has dwindled down to a skeleton crew and the vibration machines and tv screens that were installed in the back of the office are now gone. This has happened over the 18 months. I felt so duped that I have had to follow my own eating regiment without their products which is what they call the whole food approach. They hand you a schedule and write down to eat at 9, 12, 3 and 5 and that is what they consider "state of the art." My most recent visit, I felt obligated to go there to weigh in since I had given them so much of my money. I figured well I'm already screwed and gave them all my money but I'll just go in weekly for encouragement. In the last 3 weeks, I was starting to release weight I'd gained. Jerusalem shocked me in the session pulling out my initial contract. Please note: I had never been provided a copy of this contract either. She continued to point out that my 30 weeks were almost up. I looked at her bewildered and asked her," What are you talking about 30 weeks -this is a lifelong program and that's why I gave you guys thousands of dollars?" She responded saying, "Well, you signed this contract and I'm just doing my job." What????? She then passed me off to Victoria who had signed me up and I asked her what do you mean my 30 weeks are almost up? I'm not even eating your Sota food. I thought this sota program would be supporting me for my lifetime as she told me numerous times in the initial consultation. Supporting me by encouraging me and providing the weigh in appointment. Which takes about 5-10 min. Once a week. Victoria stated that she expected I'd lose weight within 30 weeks. And they provide lifetime weight maintenance. My response was well I didn't lose the weight in 30 weeks but I thought Sota would be with me and support me in my weight loss process for a lifetime not just 30 weeks. Her response was "Well, we won't kick you to the curb." I could not believe the response from her. So, I am disappointed in trusting this company. I have read other reviews about Sota in other towns with similar experiences. Also, I've noticed when Sota requests internal reviews and you don't give them are for five star review that review does not go through and you get an error. No one contacts you to find out what the complaint is about or show concern or try to help remedy the situation. This company in my experience has been dishonest and disingenuous. I learned no state of the art weight loss tactics that are not already free online using Hayley pomroy or just following a keto based diet. I met with no doctors to help me, yet I was told they had doctors on staff. I was promised a lifetime, weight loss, maintenance plan and they do not care about me nor my weight loss. They expected it to be gone in 30 weeks and since I did not meet that goal, they have no interest in helping me. Their products do not work long term and they do not have a state of the art weight loss program. I hope I help save people from throwing their money away.
