Sanctuary worked through the whole process, which can be tough in a private Over-55 community, from beginning to end. And, this project started during some of our worst Covid days, and everything was being manufactured as quickly as would be possible given the circumstances. But the owner Alex was always honest with me about the timeline, and they actually started earlier than Alex indicated they would. Paid my $1,500 deposit on April 24, 2026 for a single office glass door; their signed agreement quotes 7-10 weeks. I'm now nine weeks in with no door and no firm date. I chose them because they're family owned and expected them to stand behind their word -- they don't. By their own admission my frame order was never properly submitted the first time, adding weeks of delay. Any timeline they give does not hold. I've dealt with three different people and spent full days calling, texting, and emailing for a basic update -- one stopped responding entirely, another went silent until I escalated by email, and I've had to practically beg for information. They offer a great product at reasonable pricing but unfortunately that's where the positives stop. Their timing is never accurate from the time you give them their 50% deposit to the end of the installation it's a constant grind to get things done consistently, cleanly, and correctly. They didn't leave a single opening as it was originally found with blinds in place and functioning properly, they never cleaned up after themselves, and I'm still finding issues 3 months after Alex the owner told their lunch list guy he wasn't allowed to come back bc it was costing him too much money. I'm sorry but if your son and his crew had done a better job at initial installation you wouldn't have to spend extra on the refinements at the end... Sloppy finish work for someone who prides himself on starting as a finish carpenter. read more

I have gone back and forth since we got our windows done last October about posting a review for this company. The experience was so stressful that I had to take time to recover from it. I literally had to write out the whole thing in order to get it out of my head. Because I couldn't sleep and I was sick to my stomach. Then life happened and it wasn't a priority. Then in this last week my husband has received 5 texts out of no where asking for a referrals. I do NOT recommend this company AT ALL. Unprofessional, no respect for our property, crappy workmanship. Broken old window left in our yard after removing for new window. Our dog almost walked right over it. Broken glass and nails left throughout property. Damaged screens to new windows because they just threw them in our garage instead of placing on window after installation. Worker sent to fix screens didn't removed them from the windows. Instead he used spray paint to "fix" while on the window and got brown overspray on our newly lightly colored painted home. I could go on and on but am limited on characters for this review. Spoke with owner, Alex, several times throughout the process and ONLY once did he apologize for ONE of the MANY issues and nonsense we dealt with. He was not pleased that we withheld payment until all issues were fixed. Instead of being remorseful and proactive in fixing the issues we got attitude. AGAIN WE DO NOT RECOMMEND. The price was reasonable and the doors we got exceeded our expectations in design and in quality, and were delivered in almost half of the time estimated in the contract. Also, these type of projects always come with some inconveniences during installation, but the team made all the efforts to compensate. I had an appointment with Sanctuary Windows and Doors yesterday for a quote on all of the windows and doors in my home. The salesperson did not show up because apparently she was given the incorrect address by the company. I worked from home specifically to be here for the appointment making things much more difficult for me so I wasn't happy this had occurred but mistakes happen and the company (Elaina) text messaged me to apologize and see if I would make another appointment which I did for this morning. I made a special point in the text thread to tell her that I wanted to make sure they had the correct address this time and resent my address with the community name and instructions on how to get in. This morning I received a call from the salesman that he was running behind by 20 minutes. No problem. Then 30 minutes later I get a call saying he was at the incorrect address (the same one the first salesperson went to). I told him sorry but if your company can't get something as simple as the address correct (TWICE) then I don't have faith in handing them tens of thousands of dollars to correctly replace my doors and windows to my house. I then text messaged Elaina again letting her know I was upset this happened a second time and her response was a lie saying the salesperson was in the correct neighborhood (I know he wasn't because the gate never called and the incorrect address he was at was in a different zip code not even in my community) and then said "I think it's pretty clear that this was not meant to be, thanks anyway". I cannot recommend them highly enough! One year on and I'm still loving my doors and windows. The price was great, the attention to detail was fantastic and with this being a family company they really do focus on customer satisfaction. Any little thing you're not completely happy with Alex comes out and personally fixes. You just don't see that with those big companies!
