This is for the ones that like to read and that rely solely on reviews before purchasing a service from a business. I busted my window out my room. it was only half of the window that needed to be repaired.. 'twas the window that slid up and down as well as the part that holds the window up (when it's opened all the way) needed to be replaced. They did it in a timely manner. It took 30 minutes for him to place a new glass on my window frame (I removed the broken glass out of the frame to be replaced before I came in, if u didn't already peep) and 30 minutes to dry. I got my window in 30 minutes as they promised. They also came on time for our appointment at my house to do the rest of the repair. It was done within 45 minutes. After that, I also brought up that my screen needed to be replaced or fixed. he was able to give me color options for my screen and took it with him after our appointment, . Very polite and courteous. The only thing that was a little inconvenience is that it was gonna take about five days before I could pick up the screen. I knew I was gonna be busy that week and that I was gonna be so caught up. Couple days later, I certainly did forget about the screen until today lol. Totally my fault though! Overall, I would definitely refer anybody to come here to get new windows or even for window repairs. America's window and door store definitely was a big help and we're the only ones able to come through to help me with 1 window. read more

Back on12-27-2024, we booked an appointment to service our 4 windows. They need the "balances" repaired/replaced. We selected 1-8-2025 between 12 pm and 2 pm per Andy. On the day appointed, we waited and waited. At about 2:15 pm, we called to find out what happened. Andy told us "....Interesting that you are calling, my man just called to say he's having trouble with the first call..." We told Andy that our building only allows vendors in the building until 4 pm. We asked Andy to call us when the tech. was leaving for our home. At 3 pm, we called to speak to Andy, who was "...busy with a customer. " We told the young lady that we really wanted to speak to him. However, we were not able to speak directly. We CANCELLED THE ORDER and told the young lady to not have the tech. come to our home. We had to call them TWICE to find out the bad news. Is this good customer service? P.J. read more

I got the best windows in the market, best price possible ( I did my research and got several quotes from as many as 3-4 other companies) and best installation ever by PROS.. Daniel and Jorge took their time and installed all my windows and sliding door correctly and professionally the first time, Daniel went over everything with me before and after the install. My inspection was scheduled immediately after installation and America's Window and Door even sent another employee to answer any questions and to stand by while City Inspector review the paperwork and inspected the work. Also the owners of this company and Donna were extremely professional and worked hard to get me the right price and best product to get this project completed. America's Window and Door customer service is the best !! So far I've recommended America's Window and Door to relatives and neighbors. I needed a replacement part for an impact window. I call the store and was told to send a picture of window operator. Got a dismissive response gram a manager Jorge E Hernandez, that I needed to come in because they couldn't tell by a photo. Why not say this from beginning? I went there and the appalling customer service continued. Jorge, again in a rude way, told me that I needed to pick from the display samples. Taking down he said "there where it say window operators"... since I wasn't buying thousands of dollars worth of windows, nor him or his staff couldn't be bothered. After me insisting they took the part to research. I sarcastically told his employee he was an asshole. After leaving I got another call from him telling me to pick up my part that he was not going to sell me anything. I went back there where he threw a few more curse words and, while being physically confrontational. PGT refers him as a preferred provider for their clients that previously purchased products. They should rethink sending any customer to get such a Neanderthalian service. read more

We ordered new Windows from America's Window and Door Store to replace the old Jalousie Type. Donna was and is a terrific help. We did not need, nor did she try to sell us Impact Windows since we already have accordion shutters. Pricing and installation prices were more than competitive and communication was excellent. Installation date had to be moved due to impending storm & Donna was happy to accommodate us. The installers delivered and installed as and when scheduled. Donna and the company stand behind the products they sell and we are happy to recommend them. read more

I ordered springs for windows on 3/13/19 with Linda, requested COI with Donna because I live in a condo, charged $85 to go towards repair if I used them. Repairman came out a week later & said Linda will call with estimate, she did & while on the phone gave me 2 quotes, first $455 to put springs on 10 window & screens, then 2 seconds later said there was an error in calculating and it was $855. She had not added up before calling me with the quote. Donna still hasn't sent COI. I called weekly and was told by Donna she would personally investigate and let me know, I'm still waiting for that call. I called again early morning 3/26/19, leaving a message requesting a refund, got a call back immediately that springs arrived but I'm so disgusted with the poor customer service, rates, general apathy. the web site says free in home estimate but these guys are unethical. I dropped the ball, I'm out $85 for labor I'm not going to have done by them. A costly lesson. Shop around! read more

This is the worst customer service I have ever seen in any business. I purchased an item that they had to order. They give me the runaround for over year that it was on a slow boat from China literally. Nothing ever arrive or I was never contacted. So they kept my deposit! I've been there five or six times I left copies of my receipts the owner said he was going to check it out and call me back. never so much as even contacted me. The Company replaced all of the windows in our house and added large sliding doors on a wall that was previously windows. Their prices were a bit lower than other companies that we contacted. The service and quality of work was terrific. The staff took care to guide us in selection, without pressure. Each person was nice. They arrived on time for each meeting. There were no surprises or any charges beyond the original contract price. Other workers were at the property on the day of installation, and they commented how impressed they were with the skill of the window and door installers. At the time of final inspection, the city inspector marveled at the preparedness of the Company representative, particularly the package of photographs that was available to document all of the work, The inspection was completed and approved quickly relying primarily on the photos and documentation. I would have given no stars if possible.Do not,under any circumstances,allow Window Mart to install your windows or doors. Their prices are competitive for PGT windows. There is no issue with pricing. However they do not have a dedicated installation crew. They use subcontractors. In the construction industry this is not unusual. Yet it is not as though the used "fictitious name " window installation co. Unprofessional would best suit my experience. Frankly the list of issues I have with Window Mart is long. So to bottom line it. Fit and finish is substandard. Subs/ Crew lack communication skills. Trashed my GF's house. You get what you pay for. My advice, spend more of your hard earned money elsewhere. Any window company you might be interested in using,go to an active job site of their's. Interview the customer. If that is not possible,drop them from your list of possible candidates. They said they would make it right. The fact is I fear that they will do even more damage. It's cheaper to do it right the first time. Now I am looking for quality craftsmen to correct all of their work. Update 7/13/2018. The window company at the same address is new. The owner presumably sold to the new company. No idea if the standards have been elevated. As previously stated. Ask to go to an active jobsite and a list of recently finished jobs. Talk to the home owner. Every trade makes a mess to achieve the end result. See if there is a tarp to catch all of the debris both inside and out. Don't be fooled by the presence of a shop vac. That is used to clean the opening. If you see debris around an already installed window. The crew has no intentions of going back to clean it up. Do your homework. Don't rush the decision. read more

STAY AWAY, BEWARE, they are not the original owner of 35 years, I went in asking for insulated windows to keep the heat out of windows facing east, trusting they and Donna were the window experts, NOT AT ALL. They sold me windows that are insulated to regulate the temperature in the room, which I found out after the windows were delivered and I had my own installer, as they will install windows with a contractor who will not pull a permit, which is against they law. I went back and forth about the glass even called PGT and the rep told me they could correct the glass with the PGT local rep they refused, they told my credit card company after I stopped payment on the charges that they would give additional services until I was satisfied and when I called and spoke with Donna they denied it. The owners have never contacted me since they time I called and explained how upset I am, instead they hide behind Donna, who was with the previous owner and also advised me that they are not the original owner but the third owners and they no nothing about the window business or windows, obviously since I went in asking for windows to keep the heat out not windows that regulate the temperature in the room I had to put one star but this should be negative stars read more
