I recently adopted a 8 mos old border collie mix . He is a bundle of energy. My main purpose for obedience training was to have the dog walk calmly on a leash as I take daily walks for my own health and enjoyment. I visited Sand Creek and talked with the owners Jeff and Lisa. I got to tour the grounds and learn about the process. The training takes about 30 days I really liked the fact I could visit my pup whenever I wanted during the month. I visited several times. Lisa kept me informed regularly regarding the progress of the training. Upon his graduation she ran me through the details and steps of keeping the dog obedient. It's been a week now, we have taken 10 walks of 2-3 miles each. I am very impressed with the dogs progress, he walks very well and Obeys commands.
