I mean it's not a bad school, and most people are nice but the counselors take sides, how? One time…read moremy friends had a problem with this one girl (not me I didn't know her well) so they took it to the counselor, and the girl kept harassing and trying to talk to them even after the counseling, and so they kept going, and this one counselor told the girls that were being harassed that the girl harassing them was a growing girl, and that they are being tattletales. The ASB activities aren't as fun as you would think since they kinda make it for kids coming into 6th grade, but overall this school is okay with it's teaching just not the counselors. (Besides Ms. Hope, she's amazing, p.s everyone is chopped...)

Not a bad school per se but as a student there it could be better, bullying is a huge topic yet it…read moreis barely punished, councillors do nothing at all but just make your problems worse, for example, I talked about my abuse experience by my dad and she quite literally disregarded it and made dumb excuses, and there was a bomb threat but the staff decided to not tell anyone (the students) what was happening and told them to stay inside the classroom, which makes students more stressed because they don't know what's happening, the school doesn't do shit to take care of the problems on campus, the dress code is WAY to sexist and hasn't been updated in years. A 7th grade science teacher last year harassed students and I could see that happening as he was paying more attention to the tables with girls that ones with primarily boys, and the school doesn't nothing to take care of the problems on campus.

This is by far the worst school you could possibly send your child to. There have been incidents…read morewhere children were physically harmed, yet the administration -- especially the dean and his group -- do everything they can to cover it up. They deny the facts and make it seem like nothing ever happened. Their high ratings are completely misleading. When it comes down to real issues, they suddenly claim that the security cameras weren't working, and that they "can't do anything." I strongly advise every parent: do not send your child here. Your child's safety and well-being will not be protected at this school.

Which includes two school fights I remembered that happened rarely on occasion, and VP trying to stop one fight during lunch between a two students around the cafeteria making it absolutely horrific for SRHS to say there school is a good school in a way where the kids are just troubling sometimes as like if there students that completely don't understand what's morally correct psychologically. they say it's a good school but to those who will be freshman should know these problems because I remember these problems ever since I was a junior in high school. There needs to be more protocols, especially since I remember there would be dudes in the boys bathrooms since 2022 vaping and messing around in the bathrooms. Sometimes they would have to close down due to this behavior, and I remember there was a day most of the boys bathrooms were shut down because of this issue. After I graduated class of 2024, those memories still remain an interesting experience in high school because they reflect the issues that happened. But, also what could improve for new people coming here to have a better high school experience.

I literally take my child to school every morning at 7:15-7:18AM routinely through the drive through drop off patiently waiting for the gates to open for the solar panel parking. The Principle Regina Serbin rushes out to my truck YELLING "You can't be waiting in this line UNTIL 7:30AM when the gates open because you're blocking my staff from the parking lot" First of all HOW am I blocking the staff when the staffs cars I am blocking have already parked? This would not be a problem if they opened up the solar panel parking earlier for SAFER drop offs into the school. I didn't make a fuss so i said okay sure, what time can I start lining up? She says, "7:30AM when the gates open." Does she want everyone to START getting in line @ 730?! Like school starts 745AM people are gonna be late going to school, and driving through to WORK and cause traffic on the main street road - IT GETS DANGEROUS. i've asked all the traffic stop ladies in the morning when this gate opens up and where I can wait for drop offs, and everyone gives me A DIFFERENT ANSWER. The SECOND she tells me off that I cant park and wait in line to drop my child off, I drive ALL THE WAY AROUND and park on the STREET and then I see MORE people start waiting in the drop off line at 7:20AM, she does NOT say a WORD to them nor make them drive around UNTIL 7:30AM. If this is a problem SHE needs to be outside all morning regulating the traffic. - WHAT IS THE POINT OF HAVING 2 LANES (1 for buses and 1 for driving into the solar panel parking to drop your kids off. IF YOU CANT WAIT IN LINE UNTIL 7:30 ON THE DOT?? Every morning parents use the bus lane to drop their kids off QUICKLY, to avoid the CRAZY exit traffic from this school, they do not stop parents who park on the red curbs for drop offs (ALL OF THIS IS BECAUSE OF THE disfunctional management) OH be careful driving through the solar panel parking lot, your cars suspension will literally EAT every single hole & bump and cause you problems, don't know why this is taking so long to fix, and getting OUT from the solar panel parking is a NIGHTMARE. NO ONE to regulate the flow of traffic, you have parents fighting over getting out and going through the entire dirt field to EXIT the gates. PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS FOR OTHER PARENTS. Fortunately this will be my child's last year here at Walker Elementary School.
