On the day of the move three men showed up; the supervisor (who had COPD and could not help with the lifting), a man with a bad back and knee (who complained constantly and took a break after moving anything), and a small young man. Due to the poor crew, it took 3 x's longer to move, but they didn't care, they charged by the hour. Never hire this crew, you will regret it! We ended up firing them after the first load since it took them from 7:30 am - 3:30 pm to do one load. They stated they wanted to come back the next day to finish the move. A friend of mine was with me and we unloaded half the truck ourselves while Bruce slowly worked back and forth. Worst part was the lack of care in handling items clearly marked FRAGILE. The small box with our wedding china was dropped by Bruce right in front of me and a few plates were pulverized. Bruce apologized and agreed to pay for plate replacements. That was over a month ago and Bruce and Mack's Movers have not answered my calls or texts. They collected every dime from the contract move (over $350) they only partially completed and now we have broken items and a no response or plan for getting this resolved. I would not recommend this company and don't understand how groups that work like this stay in business.
