The park is very clean. There are pull through and back in sites and cabins. If you have kids, there's a cute playground. If you have pets, there's an area for pets. There are multiple storm shelters and bath houses. There are also pickleball courts and a very small putting green. Hook up was easy. The staff was very nice. The only issue we encountered was the slope of our site. That's not a big issue. We were able to level the trailer but knowing the site has a slope would have been nice beforehand. Nice spot for a stop while traveling to and from Florida or a visit to Dothan.

Easy access and exit sites with good size for any rig. Location is good to Dothan and right on the highway as you head south. Along with that comes significant road noise but if that bothers you, the sites furthest from the hwy reduce it significantly.

Just walk carefully as the floor does get slippery when wet. I took an old towel to throw down. There are no trees, but there is lots of grass and small ponds. There are two dog areas (large and small dogs) with agility courses. And then there's a dog wash area. This is a quiet campground. No permanents or seasonal folks. No street noise. Just birds and quiet. But here's the deal; the GPS coordinates take you on a roundabout odd way. And I had read that on another review. So, I called the campground and Shannon said to stay on 231. We did and we went right to the entrance, which is part of Magnolia Creek. It's about 7 miles from the Florida/Georgia line. (Just stay on 231) it's a big boulevard entrance that winds around down to the campground. Large house is the office. Again, this place is just awesome!

We visited a…read morecountry store just outside Marianna, FL and overheard someone say that Alabama was just 15 or so miles away. We were told that there were some interesting and fun things to do in Dothan, AL, just 30 or so minutes from the Florida/Alabama border. As we made our way to Dothan, we stopped at the Alabama Welcome Center. I'm so glad that we stopped! The two women working in the reception area were both very friendly and helpful. We visited on the first Friday of June late in the morning. They gave us a few pointers on what to see in Dothan like the many murals on buildings and invited us to browse the many travel brochures available. When we asked about the peanut outside the building, the two ladies told us that there are 80+ peanut 'statues' displayed throughout Dothan. Peanuts are a big crop in the Dothan area. We had fun trying to find peanuts displayed by local businesses while as we spent the afternoon in Dothan. Our favorite was the peanut doughnut man in front of the Krispy Kreme. The restrooms were clean and properly stocked. Large maps in the foyer area made it easy to see how we could travel the roads in Alabama. I never thought I would enjoy a rest area so much but the welcome we received plus the information available made our stop productive and fun.

This welcome center is hosted by a friendly staff and is clean, bright and inviting. I thought it was cool that Publix get a mention at this rest area. If you are on 231 and traveling from Alabama to Florida, make sure you stop on in. I give this place five stars.
