Their work is clean and the timeline was bang on with no issues. They took our dark and dingy rooms and gave us a brilliant new look to an old house and we couldn't be more pleased and the estimate was bang on. Thank you Thank you Thank you.

I want to give a shout out to this amazing company, KITCHEN MAKEOVERS. After getting 4 quotes, and…read more4 different scopes of work (what they would and wouldn't do,) I decided on this company and for a number of reasons: Tanya came with a tonne of knowledge - from colour to paint to hardware, cost, and more. She was able to offer suggestions as to what would look good, and what would be economical for me. She was extremely thorough. As well, she showed genuine interest in making my kitchen beautiful. Another contractor (I'll call him Joe) told me to figure it all out myself, which I did not find helpful. He said he was not a decorator. Everything Tanya put together for me, verbally, or otherwise, was very detailed and easily understood. I had to ask Joe a few times to clarify what he meant, which made me uncomfortable. At that point, I felt suspicious because it was beginning to appear that he was only going to put doors on and anything after that was extra and would take me well beyond the original quote. (See below) There were no hidden fees or nickel-and-diming during this transaction. She was kind enough to throw in a few extras as well - something the other 3 companies would not do. In fact, Joe was not going to paint the frames of the cabinets, saying that once the new doors went on, you would not notice the old cruddy parts of the cabinets. Not so as they were very old and discoloured. As well, Joe did not plan to do anything with the panel at the end of the row of cabinets. He told me it would cost me $150 to return to do those measurements, and $350 to put a new standard cabinet-sized panel on the end. The staff at Kitchen Makeovers is stellar. They are a young group of people, all with an extraordinary work ethic. They are: Tanya, Nadia1, Scarlet, Hayley, Jonah, and Nadia2. I couldn't have asked for better. Even with the amount of staff attending, there was never any breakdown in communication. They all had a specific job to do and they did it. The staff were always on time, in spite of having to drive from the Valley. They were all very pleasant, helpful, and did meticulous work. Their clean-up was impeccable. In closing, I will say that out of all the contractors I've had in my place in the last 2 years, (and there were many,) this company, by far, out-performed all of them, in terms of honesty, efficiency, price, customer care, and integrity. If you plan on updating your kitchen, scroll no further. Kitchen Makeovers is the only way to go. Call Tanya today! You will not be disappointed! 604-330-8735 info@kitchenmakeovers.ca.

Over the years we have…read moreinteracted with many different contractors and I would say this is one of the best experiences. We recently had them install Vinyl Plank flooring in our basement over concrete. This is the first time we have dealt with BC Best Flooring and Karen, the owner. The concrete floor was in bad shape and needed some expert work to bring it up to a standard to lay the vinyl plank. But Karen did this exceptionally well, informing us about what needed to be done and how he was going to do it, each step of the way. It is very easy to communicate with him. Prior to the job he was prompt in answering our email questions, gave us a good idea of what it would cost, and was able to do the job with not much delay. During the job it was a pleasure having him at our home, working hard and keeping us informed. We are delighted with the results, and the cost ended up being very reasonable! We would definitely have BC Best Flooring again for future flooring needs. Review also posted on Google.

I have a condo in downtown Vancouver and due to the recent flooding that happened in my building, I…read morehave decided to upgrade my carpeted areas to engineered hardwood floors. I was recommended by the project manager from the restoration company that was handling the whole repairs to use the flooring company that they chose; which was Mira. Since at the time I didn't have any other flooring companies in mind that I thought I will give them a try. Katrina from Mira called and we set up a time to meet to discuss what I wanted to do. Originally I was thinking of using stone tiling with wood finishing in my place but she said that she was concerned that the strata won't approve it, which I fully understand. She recommended that I looked into vinyl hardwood. I told her that the word "vinyl" sounds quite cheap to me and that my main concern is to add value to my place and that I needed to disclose what kind of flooring I have when I decide to sell my place. Instead of respecting me as a customer, she then started to talk loud, condescending and disrespectful to me and then told me that I didn't understand what I was talking about. She said she installed many vinyl hardwood to her customers who own million-dollar houses; however she failed to realize that in lower mainland especially Vancouver the average detached houses are all worth over a million-dollar and they are old-timers that need lots of TLC. Also I bought and sold lots of real estate in my past and I know for the fact that you need to disclose the kind of flooring in the place for which she insisted that I didn't need to. In my mind, I thought to myself how dishonest and deceiving she was, I felt extremely uncomfortable with her especially her bullying attitudes. Instead of educating me she tried to bullying me into getting something that I didn't want. She also made appointment that she couldn't keep and wouldn't get back to me until I called. Then instead of apologizing, she said that she already told me she couldn't commit to the time when in fact it was the time that she insisted that I made available for her. She also lied about the quote but tried to cover it up by saying that she made a mistake and was confused my suite with a larger suite simply because I caught her misrepresenting the quote, on top of all, the quote was not even done professionally. Instead of laying it down in details, that I repeatedly asked her to do, she gave me the total she would charge me until I asked her further as to how much she was charging me per sq ft. I was so disgusted by her deceiving and unprofessional attitudes that I did not have faith in her to get the job done right. Until now I am still dumb founded by why she couldn't give me a proper detailed quote like all the other companies' do, maybe this is Mira's business practice. Needless to say, I ended up using a much more pricy but excellent professional flooring company that I can 100% trust and relied on getting the job done and was also treated with much respect. Mira might be a good flooring company but it's very unfortunate that they have someone like Katrina representing the company's overall image. I will NEVER EVER use this company, extremely unprofessional and unethical, most of all dishonest.
