Had all the insurance issues sorted before I arrived. Dentist was great assistant was fantastic had me x-rayed, numbed up and fixed in a flash. I was in and out in 63 minutes. They pushed…read morean early morning appointment that the scheduling put in despite my concern I could get there (I work three jobs, it's tricky). I ran a few minutes late and called ahead. The entire mood of the office was so tense it was unreal. The poor staff! I almost left right then. The dentist came in, he was furious and oddly aggressive. He was very loud about embarrassing dental issues that I had, and at the end of his long speech about basically what a pain I was and how self-inflicted my issues were (poverty? motherhood? illness?), he told me "Hey if you you can always find another dentist!" I was shocked at this, because it was so out of the blue, and I had only just started consulting and was looking for a short term fix and long term plan, now that I could start paying for this care. First visit, I thought that perhaps he was a little gruff, but maybe pretty qualified. I struggled to get the next appointments. When I finally got this one, and he said that, I told him I liked his people and I was surprised at his saying that. He pretty much stormed out. What? It was so horrible I paid my bill and went to my car and cried. I never cry about anything, but it was just that awful. I literally felt unsafe with this guy. I went to another dentist who took me immediately; as in THAT DAY. This dentist had a lot of B&R's former employees on staff. They bent over backwards to let me know I wasn't alone in my experience, and they set me up with a wonderful care plan. They fixed my immediate issue and we worked out an equitable treatment plan in a full meeting with the office person who was beyond kind. Totally opposite my Boss & Rorvik experience. Weeks later I got basically an eff off letter from B&R essentially firing me as a patient... although I'd already done that for them and I'd never had any further contact since that day. I don't know what is wrong with that office, and at this point, I don't really care. It prompted me to find someone better who makes me feel welcomed and more confident about my care. But the instability of the big guy alone in this place is a big no for me. The clear stress of his staff is a big no for me. I hope your experience is better. Nobody should feel like that leaving any kind of health care facility, even if it is just a dentist.

The ladies that clean my kids teeth are not kid friendly and should perhaps have a little more patience. The other issue im beyond frustrated with is the fact that this dentist replaced two of my front cosmetic fillings a few years back. I have been in several times since then to have them fixed because they have fallen off or chipped away unbelievably fast. The last time I called I was told that these were not able to be replaced again because of only a year warranty or something. You would think that that warranty would start over again if they have to replace all of them multiple times. I am now in a position where I no longer have that insurance and my two front teeth are all chipped and misshapen because their fillings have completely failed. The part that frustrates me the most is that the feelings I had prior to them re-doing them lasted me five years. The only reason we had them re-done is because of a little discoloration. Now the ones that this office has replaced are completely discolored and chipped and broken. I am furious.

Dr. Grove is a very nice man, patient and knowledgeable. previously, I had a crown procedure by my local dentist. However, when he got ready to put the permanent crown on, I was was having severe pain when I would bite on something with that tooth. So, he put the permanent crown on temporarily, and gave me a referral for an Endodontist to examine me. Dr. Grove did several tests and ultimately made two recommendations: root canal, or extraction and implant. The latter was because he couldn't rule out that the tooth had a hidden crack. I chose the former option, and he immediately did it. After the anesthesia wore off, I had only a little pain, and that was in the jaw joint from holding my mouth open wide for so long. By the next day, zero pain! I would recommend Dr. Grove to everyone!

Everyone I knew who went to him for braces ended up looking rather equine, myself included. As an adult, I ended up spending nearly $5,000 to have the damage fixed. If only they had spent the $500 extra to take me to Dr. Klomparens back in the day...
