Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, firstly may I start off by offering my sincere apologies that you feel this way about the service provided.
When you came into the shop the lady that served you to your sandwiches explained that there was not much food left due to a very busy day, and the fact that the shop was officially closed, however we don't like to turn away customers if we can help.
You asked for 2 cheddar salad sandwiches, unfortunately the only salads available were lettuce and sweetcorn which you were given. The price you paid was £8.40, but you fail to explain that this was the price for 1 cheddar sandwich, 1 cheddar baguette (which is an extra 60p) the salad was only charged on 1 as there was only the lettuce and sweetcorn available, 2 x cans of pop, and 2 x packets of crisps. I think most people will find this price acceptable for the goods received.
When asked for extra coleslaw it was explained that this is an extra 50p, as unfortunately it costs us money so we can't just give food away.
The lady who served you felt that you was being rude towards her, so retaliated in the same manner. Whilst this is not acceptable, it's also not acceptable for my staff to be spoken to in a rude manner either.
Unfortunately I can't comment on the hair, as this has obviously not been seen by us. Had you bought your sandwich back the problem could have been rectified if it was found to be true, but we have a 5star food hygiene rating and we thrive on providing high quality food.
Sandwich club has been established for 16 years now, and that particular employee has worked for the company for the whole period of time. She is a very friendly and reliable member of staff who is actually in fact the manager and thrives on her customer service, and helping sandwich club receive and retain our 5star hygiene rating.
Going forward if you choose to visit our establishment again we hope you will find it will be a more pleasurable experience.
Again my sincere apologies. read more
