We had to go back that day, as we were visiting and booked the tour, we were about 20-25 min away so we grove right away over, although it was still had to be an hour before the tour was supposed to happen. We also were under impression that we weren't a "prisoners" of the tour and concreting our flight we though maybe we could just take an hour and come back (as it says it takes about 2 or over 2 hours for the tour) so when we came and learned that that couldn't be done, the very nice guide told us to call the office and get a refund. So I did immediately, so they could cancel the trip and get new people over to book as it's been less than 40 min since I've booked it and still an hour to go before the tour itself. The lady who worked at the office ( I want to say her name was Grace but I'm not 100% sure) told me that she understands and will talk to the owners, and that she'd call me later that day. As the only reason for the tour not to happen for us was that we had a flight to catch and just could do and 1 hour tour. I've messaged her as we were boarding the plane, that if she'd call we will be flying so won't be available. No response, The next day I've sent and email, No response, the day after I emailed again and will no response again I called. She was quite rude and "shitless" to say more accurately, and started to tell me that she didn't tell me really that she would ask about the refund and just being arrogant and unpleasant to say the least. So long story short I would avoid dealing with this company in the future as the service isn't as what I was hoping for as per all the good reviews that Ive read.

Cormorants frequently followed along our kayaks, diving for fish we stir up paddling. Large White Pelicans grouped on the huge sandbar, Ospreys dove from the sky for fish and Egrets, Pipers and more birds were plentiful. We also were shown small crabs climbing the mangroves as we explored the passages of tunnels. We would recommend this excellent guided tour.

We spotted White Ibis, Blue Heron, Royal Tern, Osprey, Blue Crab and even a ray. We paddled through narrow channels in the mangroves, spending about three hours enjoying the sights of the St Joseph Sound.and Caladesi Islsnd. Luis is a fantastic guide and naturalist, and even if you already paddle, his instruction is really helpful. This trip is a must do! We will definitely do this again when we return.

We found Sweetwater rented at Weedon Island and we had not been there before so we went!! First they do like you to make reservations before the day you want to go but we dod not do that. I do wish there was a way to do that online but you have to call. Luckily we called and they were more than accommodating. We told them we were about 15 minutes away and they put our name on the list and we got a tandem!! Everyone was professional and very helpful. The rates are reasonable and we got 2 hours for $34. Just the right amount of time. The Weedon Island area is really nice with some great areas to Kayak in. In particular are the mangrove paths. Really nice but can get a little tight. You will definitely get a workout navigating those!! Highly recommend Sweetwater. They are a great group of friendly and professional people.
