5 out of 5 stars!…read more Today was my first visit to this dental office, and it was my husband's second time bringing our son. We went as a family, and both of our kids--our two-and-a-half-year-old daughter and six-and-a-half-year-old son--had their routine checkups and cavity screenings. I truly can't say enough good things about our experience. The entire staff was incredibly professional, warm, and welcoming. The office itself is spotless and thoughtfully designed to make both kids and parents feel at ease. The doctor was prompt, kind, and wonderfully engaging with the children--so approachable and patient, which made a big difference. Both of our kids had such a great time that they were actually excited about the visit! I would wholeheartedly recommend this dental office to any parents looking for a caring and competent team to take care of their children's dental health. As a bonus, there's free public parking, and you can easily access the office via elevator from the garage--super convenient. The kids loved the goodie bags they received, which added a fun touch to the visit. We had an early morning appointment, and I highly recommend going at that time--it was calm, cheerful, and everything ran exactly on schedule. We left with smiles on our faces and already booked our next appointment for six months from now!

At every point, they went the extra mile to ensure that I'm comfortable, addressed my concerns, and answered all of my questions. They went above and beyond in making me feel truly valued. The seasoned team at Colesville Dentistry took the time to examine the photos and made reasonable recommendations based on their review. They explained the purpose of each recommendation. No gimmicks. No sales pitch. Everything was reasonably priced. After my 1st visit, I just knew I made the right decision in switching to Colesville Dentistry. I especially enjoyed having a TV screen above the dental chair with beautiful scenes of Tropical islands to look at while they were working. I look forward to coming back for my regular checkup and will definitely recommend them to all my friends and family. Thank you Colesville Dentistry

When I lived in Wheaton, which was a lot closer to downtown Silver Spring, I still always wrote/typed Wheaton, MD 20902. I had a dentist when I live in Wheaton that was less than a mile away, and she was good, and it's a hassle finding a new dentist. I moved to Russett in 2020, and I kept going all the way back to Wheaton for my dentist through 2023. My girlfriend recommended her dentist Colesville Dentistry, and she was right! I first arrived here in May 2024, then November 2024, & most recently May 2025. Wow, this dentist is top notch, blows the Wheaton dentist I had out of the water. The staff is friendly, efficiently gets you in. Dr. Chai, other dentists, & technicians have been friendly doing a great job with the cleanings as well as advise on better dental habits. Also, this is a state of the art dental office. When you are lying on the dental chair, there is a TV screen above you with high definition nature scenes which is peaceful when the dentist isn't exactly the most pleasant experience even with Colesville Dentistry being the best case scenario goes as far as the dentist goes. They have great technology with computer modeling of my teeth & more, which the prior dentist I had fell short. Although it's still not super close to my home, still easier than going to Wheaton and worth the drive. Overall, I highly recommend Colesville Dentistry.

Adding an important update to my 5 star review:…read more This is entirely my fault but I wanted to mention it in case it helps someone else. There was an adjustment on my insurance and I owed more money, and was sent two bills via post office. I, a millennial, am horrible at checking snail mail and therefore did not notice. Once I received a debt collection letter, I decided to call the office to confirm it was a real bill. I was told about the two snail mail bills, and was told they don't call or email (which would have been nice for me). The ladies I spoke to were helpful and polite as I've always experienced with this office. It was an extra few hundred with the debt collection fees which I could have avoided. If you have any insurance related surgery, always check your SNAIL MAIL!

My records had already been faxed over and Dr. T reviewed my records ahead of my visit. Because my xrays were about 10 months old, they performed a new xray during my consultation. What stands out about this office is how thorough they all are - Dr. T talked me through the entire process and reviewed the risks involved with the extractions. His medical assistant/tech also talked me through the entire process again to ensure I had a clear understanding. I provided my insurance information ahead of the consultation (over the phone while scheduling and again within the new patient forms that I completed online). They verified my insurance and calculated the out of pocket costs for me which I paid during the visit. They were upfront and very transparent about the costs during the visit, and informed me that I should expect to receive a small bill post-visit. I paid a pre-surgical deposit that went towards the balance for the procedure. I was offered an appointment for the extractions as early as the following week, however I opted to schedule a month and a half later due to prior commitments. Ahead of my extractions, they sent my prescriptions to the pharmacy so I was able to pick them up before the procedure. I also received a couple of reminders for the visit. The extractions and healing went well. The care instructions provided were clear and easy to follow. The staff (front desk and clinical) are all very kind and welcoming, and I appreciated how patient they were as I was anxious about the procedure. The office is clean, modern looking and easy to find. Overall, I had a great experience at this practice!

Each visit we have had no complaints and have been impressed by Olney Dental's professionalism and friendliness. They have exceeded what my expectations are for a dentist, and now I fear I am spoiled. Our first visit, Dr Kaminski told us how things worked, what they do and how each visit will go. He explained a computer system they use that tracks your dental records; what they did each time, X-rays, gum measurements, procedure prices, and appointment times. And each visit has gone EXACTLY how we expected it to. We chose to get an appointment confirmation email (you click the 'yes' box and it's done) and then a text reminder of your appointment time the day before. We arrive a few minutes early by rule, but we have never had to wait longer than we expected. The staff is great! Kate at the front desk is so nice, and has helped us with paperwork sooo many times. (in fact, I think she just does it all for us now) And our hygienist Jocelyn is very friendly and personable. We spend most of our 50 minute appointment with her, getting the cleaning and/or Xrays done, and then Dr Kaminski pops in at the end and gives your mouth a one-minute inspection. But Jocelyn is so thorough that it doesn't even bother me how little time we spend with the dentist. On a practical note, they convinced me to floss more, and my gum health has definitely improved. I would recommend Olney Dental to anyone within a 40 mile radius of Olney. (we drive 35 minutes to get there, and at first we were skeptical of the distance, but twice a year it is EASILY worth it)

I rarely write reviews--positive or negative--but our family's experience here warrants sharing…read more We had been patients for over a year, and initially things were fine. Cleanings for my wife and two kids were routine, and while there were occasional billing issues, they were eventually resolved after follow-up (although they usually required multiple follow-ups). Things changed significantly during our most recent visits. At a routine appointment, my wife was told she had progressive gum disease and bone loss, needed a deep cleaning not fully covered by insurance (costing around $600), and would need to return every three months. She was also told she needed a crown replaced. A few weeks later, my 22-year-old son was told essentially the same thing--gum disease and bone loss requiring a deep cleaning--and was charged over $400. When I questioned how this could arise so suddenly given that nothing had been mentioned at his cleaning just six months earlier, I was told that the previous dentist was no longer with the practice because she had been "under-diagnosing." That explanation raised serious concerns. At my own appointment shortly after, I received the same diagnosis. When I declined treatment and said I would seek a second opinion, the office offered to reduce the price. We then sought independent evaluations from another dentist over the following weeks and months. Without being given much background, the new dentist found no gum disease, no need for deep cleanings, and no bone loss--for me, my son, or my wife. Follow-up visits and X-rays confirmed the same. While we are relieved by these results, the experience was concerning. Being told that multiple family members suddenly required costly procedures--only to learn from another provider that none were necessary--undermines trust. I don't write this lightly, but I would encourage others to consider seeking a second opinion before proceeding with significant dental treatment here.

I lived in DC and had terrible experiences with three different DC dentists, including one offering to give me botox during my cleaning. Um what? This resulted in me avoiding dentists at all costs. My parents see Dr. Perkins and thanks to my love for all things sugar and soda I eventually ended up in the chairs of both Dr. B and Dr. G over the last (ehhh) six years or so. Most recently...my visit wasn't by choice. A filling or something or another fell out as I was happily crunching on tortilla chips when bam I needed my first root canal. Dr. George worked me in and dealt with the situation way better than I could have imagined. I went to the root canal specialist then back to him and oddly it wasn't the terrible experience I was anticipating. Kind of weird but also kind of refreshing. I just went back for my cleaning and have an appointment for fillings. Not something to brag about but they're the first dental office that's made me feel comfortable about actually coming back!
