I highly recommend Sandy's Day Care to any parent seeking a dependable, caring and reasonably priced daycare. In 2014 I had my son Dominic-James and needed the reliability of a daycare center that was reasonably priced but at the same time was caring and loving to my baby. I'm a working professional and like many parents, the option for being a stay-home mom was not feasible for me and my family. After my cesarean section and 12 weeks of allowable maternity leave, I needed to find a day care that was caring and loving towards my 3 month baby. I did my research and none of the daycare homes followed up with me as a sign for either taking an interest in my son or my business. I was not going to settle with just any daycare who did not take an interest in the care of my son. As a mother, I needed to have the peace of mind that my baby was going to be in good hands during my long 10 hour days.
I finally came across Sandy's Day Care and found exactly what I was looking for. During my first initial scope of Sandy's Day Care, I noticed that Sandy took a very special interest in Domenic. I saw how loving and caring Sandy was towards my baby, as she requested to hold him and that was enough to make me feel that my son was going to be in good hands. The following day, Sandy followed up with me and I knew Dominic was going to be cared for like I wanted him to be taken care, therefore my choice for Dominic was Sandy's Day Care.
During my first week back to work, I thought it would be a tough adjustment for Domenic, but to my great surprise it was not tough at all. Dominic never cried when I would leave him in Sandy's Day Care (which is a perfectly normal phase for infants/children to experience as they departure from their mothers). Since 2014, I have continually witnessed how loving Sandy is with my son as well as the other children. Domenic has developed his social skills and has also learned his ABC's in company of his peers too. I was gracefully surprised how fast Domenic was potty-trained at almost 2 years of age. He has also acquired good manners from Sandy's Day Care (i.e. "Thank you", "Yes, please"). Even the simple things like throwing away his trash and picking up after himself almost comes as second nature. These are just a few simple signs of what a good and loving day care will do for the children. Nevertheless, our daycare is our partnership and as parents, we too have a responsibility to continue to re-enforce these good manners at home.
As a mother, I understand that finding a caring, dependable and reasonably priced daycare is quite difficult to find but it never was with Sandy's Day Care. Sandy will work with you in terms of pricing and has always put the children first. Your child/children will always be in good hands in Sandy's Day Care. As of today, March 30th 2018, my son, Domenic, is now 4 years of age and even when he starts Kindergarten next year, I will continue to use Sandy's Day Care for after school day care and the upcoming summers to come. read more
