Two of my favourite items in this store are the wide selection of tie-able bow ties (as opposed to pre-tied bow ties) and the small selection of satirical books found at the register. The books are quite expensive and I have yet to see them on sale, but they are such fun: How to be a lady, how to behave at a formal diner party - amazing! Tanger outlets have all the essentials for every event, from the casual BBQ to a night on the town, to a fancy dress ball - enjoy!

I decided to pop in on a whim and see what they had. I noticed a sign on the door that said they had a "work dog" inside, which immediately made me joyous. I was even happier that she (I think her name was Jazz!), was the sweetest, most calm dog ever and hung out with me while I shopped. The staff member (who I believe was the owner), was great at keeping her close by, but I made it clear that I welcomed her furry little presence! I was asked right away if I needed help and was led to their fantastic selection of cuff links. Thy source them out of the UK and I believe Texas. Their selection is plentiful - classy and quirky and tailored to all personality types. They have sports one and occupations and I ended up selecting an awesome pair of silver Lego pieces. I mentioned my boyfriend was an MMA trainer and he offered to order in some boxing glove cuff links for us - wonderful customer service! I also picked up a gorgeous Nautica tie (at half off!) and some super cool dinosaur socks for the birthday boy. They have an amazing selection of men's grooming products including beard grooming supplies, European razors and a whole wall of other goodies. They also carry a ton of fun and colourful socks and an insane amount of men's underwear (the second staff member is your go to guy for men's underwear. He admits to owning hundreds of pairs!). He took the time and trouble to attend to my son and assist him with his undivided attention. He was instrumental in solving our problem quickly with no drama. we were in and out in plenty of time to get to our luncheon with the rest of our extended family. Impeccable service. So this Marshalls in Barrhaven opened up like 2 years ago in 2018, but I didn't even know it…read moreexisted until recently. When I first moved to Ottawa I lived in Nepean and went to Barrhaven all the time, but back then it was mostly fields, lol. So much development has happened since, but nowadays I am rarely ever in Barrhaven anymore. However, my husband and I were meeting some friends to check out a restaurant with a nice patio out in Barrhaven so we went a bit early to do some shopping...and what are my favourite stores?...Marshalls and Winners, of course (yes, we did them both, lol). So this Marshalls is in a newer plaza complex along with a Dollarama, the biggest Natural Food Pantry I've ever seen, an LCBO, Value Village, Costco and a few other businesses. I'm not crazy about the sprawling suburban plazas, where you have to drive to get from one section to another or you take your life in your own hands as you navigate the parking lots as a pedestrian, but I will endure them to shop at a Marshalls ;) So this Marshalls didn't have the best selection of merchandise. Yes, we are in the midst of the Covid Pandemic and I understand that they have supply chain issues, but compared to other Marshalls during the same time, I find this one rather lacking. I will need to go back when the Pandemic is over to see how it compares to other Marshalls locations during normal times (as my first visit was during the Pandemic). I liked that their Clearance Section was clearly marked, as this is always the first section that I shop ;) It's a big Marshalls so things are spread out and well organized, not like the tiny Urban Concept stores where everything is crammed together and organization is haphazard and weird. Like why is underwear right next to chips? Yes, I'm a city princess, but I hate "urban concept" stores! Anyway, if I'm in Barrhaven, I guarantee you I will go to this Marshalls, but I won't make a special trip to Barrhaven just to go to this Marshalls. Does that make sense? Lol.

You must call to make an appointment first - they don't take walk-ins. 2. There is limited selection. What they have is what they have. I think the place is overflow from suit manufacturers, so they get what hasn't sold in other places. 3. What they have is FANTASTIC value. I got 3 namebrand suits, 2 shirts, and 4 ties for $1000. And they all look fantastic. 4. They don't do alterations, but can recommend excellent tailors. 5. They know what a good suit should look like. Jimmy and his salespeople are absolutely phenomenal at showing you suits that would look good on your body. They also carry tuxedos, shirts, belts and a limited selection of shoes. There's not a huge selection of kids' suits - it's really a mens' shop. I would strongly you visit Jimmy if you're looking for new suits.

You have ton of promotions (special, point cards, registry for birthdays, etc.) The bad: Read the small print of the specials, they might not be what you think. The store clerk that served us rubbed us wrong and came on as aggressive. Shoe area was all placed wrong and looked like it had no maintenance. Our clerk kept getting interrupted by other clerks while she served us. Place is great and clothes are nice (they do not have JUST suits). This was my first time in a Moores store. Too bad the service almost ruined the visit for me.

Completely turned me around on the full length idea. When I turned my attention to pants, I found only flat front which I've never cared for. A little more coaxing to try them out and I was sold on those as well but instead of buying just the pants I went with a solid color suit that I can mix with my current wardrobe. I've always purchased my clothing piecemeal which means often I wouldn't get around to matching a suit and shirt, tie etc.. and would never end up buying new shoes but with the suit deal I was sort of forced to put together an ensemble and it turned out to be just what I needed. I automatically assumed that my "look" needed to be the way it's always been because it doesn't go out of style but I completely changed my thinking on that once I realized that these styles can be trendy but also classic for the long term. Instead of spending $1200 for just a coat (mind you a beautiful cashmere coat) I ended up with a terrific coat, beautiful suit, Egyptian cotton shirt, tie, belt, socks and a pretty cool pair of shoes.
