So my washer finally gave up even after all the voodoo and blood sacrifices ive put into it she disappointed me. So I jumped in my lambo-feeties and headed up the street to SPEEDWAY APPLIANCE FAIRMONT. Now I called them a month or so ago asking about a washer and what is involved with getting one but mine started acting right so I thought well let me ride this out. But alas I was a FOOL. Now here the best part. I walked in and spoke with the man there I believe he was the owner and I forgot to ask his name which hindsight was rude of me. Anyway he showed me an older model for 275$ HE without that thing in the middle I was like ok I'll take it knowing damn well I only had 300 to spend and I shared that with the man and prayed he would come down a little bit on the price. To my absolute amazement this kind man not only cut me the best deal I have ever gotten on an appliance he did so with kindness and respect. Like my dude you are my hero . And I 1000% recommend going there to see for yourself the treatment you get it's incomparable to big box stores and friendlier than Amazon always shop and eat small give your time and business to your neighbors not a stranger. Looking at the selection of items in the store they are all newer and more sophisticated than you might think with flat top stoves and stainless steel refrigerators that have the double door design. I miss the old Town & Country Hardware Store, Town & Country Hardware 2as the original Salem Ace Hardware. Till August of 2017, they were no hardware stores in Salem. I have heard earlier this year, like in the Spring that the hardware store is coming back to Salem, WV. I found out that the store was going to be Ace, which made me more happy. Ace Hardware in Bridgeport, WV closed in the Summer of 2014. So for a short while, they were no Ace Hardware stores anywhere in Harrison County, WV. In 2016, Ace Hardware returned to Harrison County, WV, in Shinnston and made another return in 2017, in Salem. Now there is 2 Ace Hardware stores in Harrison County. I live in Salem and The Ace Hardware of Salem is a real helpful place and close to my home. Though the store address is ACTUALLY 210 Liberty St. Salem, WV 26426, NOT 298 Liberty St. Salem, WV 26426. Just remember, Ace is the place and Ace, the helpful place. True Value sucks and Ace is better. Just kidding, I have nothing against True Value Hardware, and they are a good store, I just like Ace Hardware name better.
