I am writing in response to your reply to my review…read more I want to reiterate that my concerns regarding potential racial bias in the testing process were not addressed. The results and interpretation raised significant concerns for me, and I would have expected at minimum an acknowledgment that bias in psychological assessment is a recognized issue that requires careful consideration--especially when a patient explicitly raises it. Additionally, your characterization of my decision to seek a second opinion as "shopping for a diagnosis" was inappropriate and dismissive. Seeking further evaluation is a standard and reasonable step in mental health care, particularly when questions remain about testing methods or diagnostic conclusions. In my case, the second opinion is coming from two highly qualified professionals--a psychiatrist and a neuropsychologist--whose expertise is equal to or exceeds that of many general practices. There are a range of highly specialized neuropsychological practices available, such as Curect Neuropsychology, that focus specifically on comprehensive and structured assessment. Given the nature of my concerns, it is especially important that evaluations be conducted in a way that is careful, culturally informed, and free from potential bias, so that patients--particularly those from marginalized backgrounds--can feel confident that their experiences are being accurately and fairly understood. I also want to again address the issue of punctuality. Being over two hours late to my appointment significantly impacted the session and my experience of care. I did not receive any acknowledgment or apology for this in your response, which I find concerning given the extent of the delay. PLEASE, IF YOU ARE A BLACK WOMAN SEEKING AN UNBIASED AND ACCURATE ASSESSMENT FOR YOUR CONCERNS, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AT THIS PRACTICE.

I started my ADHD testing process in September 2022. Before I started the process, and before I…read morecould schedule My initial consult with Dr. Hafeez, the person I spoke with advised me that the estimated time line from the start of the process until I received my results would be approximately 5 months. This would mean that I wouldn't have results until February, which I was okay with, since I was 59 years old, and this was more to confirm what I already suspected. Fast forward to the start of my final testing session in December, where I was informed by the testing psychologist that my results would not be available until May 2023. I was devastated, because I really thought I would have an answer regarding the reason for my struggles soon. While waiting for CCPS results, which I did not receive until mid-April, I had myself evaluated elsewhere at my own expense, and got my results quickly. When I finally did get my results from CCPS, Dr. Hafeez arrived over 30 minutes late, and I wasn't seen for another 15 minutes. Then, in the middle of my "Informing Conference", which I recorded, Dr. Hafeez interrupted the session to take a phone call. When she returned, she apologized and said she had to take the call because it was her OB/GYN with the results of her pap smear. When I requested corrections to details and context in the report I received, Dr. Hafeez was dismissive of my concerns. The only reason I'm giving CCPS any stars at all is because the testing psychologists and office staff were extremely nice and very helpful.

Yes, she is not for the faint of heart. She is kind but candid. She will push you to break through your barriers and challenge you at times. She is a mixture of a life coach and a therapist. I can not say enough about the impact Dr. Granda has had on my life. I am eternally grateful.

There aren't enough words to describe what a monster this person is…read more My first time there, she had forgotten that we had an appointment. That type of scheduling confusion and lack of professionalism was constant throughout the months I was her patient. Meanwhile, if I was running late, she'd berate me and insult me. This knowing that I live over an hour away by public transport, and have lost access to a car. She never took notes, and though she'd remember some things, she'd completely forget entire sessions we'd had. It was difficult and brave and important for me to talk to someone about my traumas, and I would, and at the moment she's be understanding, and ten she'd forget. She was hard of hearing due to what she claims is a brain tumor, and yet she wouldn't believe me, or anyone else when they'd tell her she misheard. She was always abusive towards her receptionist, calling him stupid and blaming her shortcomings on him. She never diagnosed me with anything, but then if I disagreed with her she'd throw around serious diagnoses like insults. When id ask what behaviors of mine were making her think I had these "disorders" she had no answers. She was racist, multiple times. She was a victim blaming rape apologist. She would often tell me personal details about her life. Sometimes they were pertinent to what was going on in mine, and sometimes hey were so out of left field id have to remind her what we were talking about. I know about her days getting her toes sucked at plato's retreat, about her ex husband's heroin addiction, and many other things. She cursed constantly, and had called me "not a human being." She has literally fallen asleep during a session. The sad thing is that I came to her in such dire need of a therapist, and my insurance would only cover her or one other therapist who was not taking new patients. This woman has been a monster. A monster. She knows nothing about me, and literally made "waaaah waaaahhh " noises making fun of me because I was crying. My life is much worse because of her, and that's saying something because I went to her in shambles. She's about 100 years old and is not long get fit to practice, if she ever was. It's bad news. She doesn't even deserve one star, but the app won't allow it any other way.
