This place is amazing. They have a wide variety of different antiques from Books to clothing to currency and more. The people that work they are really helpful, They're nice, and most of the stuff in there is for a reasonable prices. I would definitely recommend. also right across from it. walked into this store fully aware that it was 15 min till closing. As soon as I entered, We were greeted with, " we close in 5 min". No hello, welcome in.... As I looked at my watch, another worker said, " well actually in ten minutes. we close at 5". Again, I looked at my watch and said, "I'm aware.". Expansive shopping area with your run of the mill antiques which are extremely overpriced. We didn't find anything 'unusual' or unique. There are a few booths with decent pricing but overall it's really high. I searched a few items I was interested in but found them more than $100.00 cheaper on eBay and Etsy- even after shipping costs. If you don't mind overpaying for antiques this is your place. I've shipped antiques from California to Oklahoma to Maine and this is one of the most expensive. The people who work there are super nice and helpful so it's enjoyable spending a couple of hours looking around to kill some time. read more

We were visiting family in the area, and always look for antique shops. We thought this was going to be a small shop, but once we got upstairs the rooms just kept going. Really impressed by the vast selection of items and the prices were decent. Bought several small items to bring home to Florida. We look forward to visiting again. read more

This place was large and full of your average North Carolina and southern antiques. Plenty to look at. Decent prices also. We went in search of vintage Fiesta dishes, not much to choose from. Maybe next time. Go upstairs and find the room on the far left full of mid-century steals. read more

Still one of my favoritEST places to be in Sanford. Came back when visiting the area and went on a new treasure hunt for Daguerrotypes and old tintypes. Many vendors that were there when I lived in Sanford are no longer in business...or they may have moved to a different mall. But the staff here is still very helpful if you are looking for something specific. The prices are ok. Not great bargains, but you won't get gauged either. So if you are looking for something you may be able to find it here. They still have a very large collection of mid-century modern furniture upstairs in the annex. Not many places do in NC...so this may be what you are looking for if you are into mid-mod. I loved coming back. read more

Here's a great little antique mall in the heart of historic Sanford. As far as antique malls go (in my experience), it is on the smaller side. However, there are some interesting little booths. Lots of country collectibles, some vintage pottery, jewelry (though not a lot), furniture, etc. A very healthy variety of items. The last room on the top floor has some fabulous Eames era and retro furniture and decorations. There's also a cute little attached coffee shop, which is a perfect place to leave a bored boyfriend or spouse. The prices are moderate to high, but that's not unusual for the South. Don't get me wrong, I love the South. Their antique's do tend to be pricier than in the North (again, based on my experiences). But, no matter! I still had a great time exploring the building and will definitely be back for more! read more

It is clear to me now that Sanford doesn't really know how rare a treasure they have on their hands here at the Sanford Antique Mall. If you're from Decatur, GA (like I am), you can compare it to Kudzu but with ridiculously lower prices! Furniture, toys, vintage clothes, antiques (duh), jewelry, signs, and just stuff upon stuff upon... treasures!! Antique Malls are wonderful places to browse away a hot summer or cold winter afternoon and this one is pretty special. There is a wide variety of merchandise displayed in an orderly fashion. Often in antique malls, small multiple items like vinyl records and cds are a hopeless jumble but, here, you can actually find things. The displays are clean and the staff is courteous and helpful. Nice little restaurant adjacent, too, and for railfans, the Norfolk and Southern Aberdeen Subdivision main line runs right across the street. Woo woo! read more

this is by far one of my favorite stores. the people that work there are so nice and helpful and you want to come back again b/c of the wonderful hospitality. i was able to find lots of vintage toys like tin toys, wind up toys, old board games. the prices were amazingly reasonable and they package deals if you buy quantity. you should definitely check this place out. it is unique in its own way. read more

This is a fantastic store! I don't mind the drive from Raleigh at all -- just makes the anticipation even better! So many vendors under one roof makes it an afternoon gold mine!
