For years after, I neglected checking out the antique store here now. This one is expansive and observes the vendor booth set-up so common for antique stores these days. The selection is mostly what I'll call "home goods". Furniture, kitchen items, decor, lots of framed paintings and pictures, dishes, displays, wall hangings. Of course there's a large assortment checking almost every box, but the above are the ones that stood out most to me. I wasn't blown away by the quality of most items in here nor the selection. This store didn't appeal to me quite as much as others nearby. Prices definitely varied, but seemed mostly reasonable. I will definitely pay another visit in the future.

Id be too embarrassed to give it away! And then, what is decent is priced as if it is brand new. I mean come on...a purple crown royal bag for 50 cents? Strike 3...so after being throughly rejected by the manager (at the hwy 5 location) by daring to ask if she'd take any less for a scratched and peeling painted glass dish priced at $15... I found a better version and way cheaper right next door at the fancy attitude resale shop. I am not a negotiator but the item was overpriced and damaged, so I didnt think it would hurt to ask. I was told by the cashier that the manager would have to determine discounts. The manager without even considering I was purchasing over $50 of other overpriced items, stated that prices were set...just before making up a price for an unpriced item i had. Good grief. I just continue to fail to see why this thrift store these days are inflating their prices right along with everything else.
