I let her know that I was in Alaska and that we wished to provide something for the family that would bloom each year and grow up healthy and happy, to remind them of their amazing three year old son. Nicole made several suggestions and we settled on a gorgeous flowering tree that would attract butterflies and bloom from spring to fall. Her kindness and helpfulness were so greatly appreciated. When I called back, another wonderful and equally helpful young woman answered the phone. Apparently, this nursery hires people with great customer service skills and exceptionally big hearts. 5 Stars for my new favorite plant shop (inside a lawn & pest control shop)…read more You've probably heard of Oviedo Plants from the way they blew up on social media over the past couple of years, but this was the first time I had the chance to go there. I was surprised to see it was inside another shop, and that it didn't have its own Yelp page. The moment I walked in I was immediately blown away by the extraordinary, curated selection of plants. Though they may not have room for hundreds of plants, they make up for it in the curation. We're talking draw-dropping monsters albo's at first sight. Then you see the sale rack and you end up leaving with far more new plants than you imagined. The staff is next level, too. Rochelle helped us. Her sister is the owner, but she does much of the buying and curation. She was able to explain to us how to care for each plant, and it turned out we got there a day after she brought a bunch of new babies in. Timmy helped check us out and set us up with boxes so packing them in the car was a breeze. It felt like a family business and one that I'm more than happy to support. A few weeks later, the plants are thriving and I am thrilled to have found this little hidden gem. Do yourself a favor!

The place is smaller than Girard up the street and has a smaller collection and is not as well kept. Many of the plants I noticed looked a bit droopy. They do have a large above ground Koi pond with all sizes and prices of fish. It is so big they built a wooden bridge so you can walk over it and peer down at the fish below. They even had one tank with "award winning" show Koi that were expensive but beautiful! The lady behind the counter wasn't very friendly at first and seemed bothered when we asked for help. After we started talking she warmed up and two other employees appeared and were quite friendly. We didn't find a fountain in the garden or their book that we liked so we ended up purchasing a pot that we are going to make into a waterless water feature.

This location was in the Seminole town mall in Sanford, Fl…read more Out of all the Spirit Halloween locations I have been to this was probably the largest store and it probably covered half of the old Burlington store that use to be here. I gave this location three stars because there was no ac and even in October in Florida it's still hot so it didn't feel comfortable walking in to a hot store. The value and selection here is just like al other locations I just think they used and had more space to work with at this particular store. The service was good,even with kids running around enjoying all that this store offers the staff was nice. The selection of costumes was pretty good and had some good Halloween costumes and Halloween merchandise such as shirt and stuff to put out side of your house.
