After already stating when I first sat with this punk that it was indeed covered under warranty. So since he was put on the hot seat when I asked for the name of the person whom passed my husband's inspection and shouldn't have, he got awfully offended (as any guilty person would) and said he wouldn't give the name (that I have now thanks to my husband's inspection papers) and also now he wasn't going to cover the job on my car under Toyotas warranty...didn't know we can pick and choose when to follow that. The whole funny part about this is someone is supposed to be his manager and not once did that person come to the customer (me) to discuss this after seeing and hearing there was clearly a problem going on. The price of the oil…read morechange was fine ($60), but they told him he needed both front tie rods done, new tires and an alignment. First, he didn't ask for them to check anything on the car out. Second, I brought the car home to my mechanic a week later and just 1 outer tie rod needed to be done. The car had just been inspected a few months so we knew the other stuff was probably fine even before double-checking. I feel like they were trying to take advantage of a naive college kid. Don't recommend.

We had a bad experience here. My daughter called me from college and told me that a man at this…read morebusiness verbally quoted her $1100 for an oil change and a 4 wheel disk brake job. This prompted me to drive 4.5 hours one way to see just 'what was what' at this shop... In their defense, one caliper did need to be replaced (as one wheel's brake was 'metal on metal'), the 4 rotors needed to be replaced (along with pads), and one stud/lug nut was cross-threaded. My daughter is a 20 year old who 'calls em like she sees em'. All I know for certain is that she didn't like this place. I told him 'not everyone in Clinton is rich' during a civil 'one on one' conversation outside. I asked him rhetorically, "With all due respect, $1100 for brakes??; What do you think the car is worth, $2000?" He replied, "Well, maybe a little more than that." He shrugged his shoulders and went back inside. It is a 12 year old very common sedan. I took the car elsewhere, on the outskirts of an east coast city... It turns out that the car also needed a new lower control arm (it had a cracked bushing), badly needed new spark plugs, and needed a new oil sender unit (which was leaking a lot). ALL of this additional work (plus all of the work quoted) was completed for $1000 elsewhere, (Parts and labor fully warranted, licensed mechanic, done within 24 hours) Do the math & good luck in selecting your repair shop.
