Norm, I presume, broke out is nasty attitude right from the get-go saying "well I was there until 10 I'm not there now", implying that I ever had any clue as to what his personal schedule is. I asked him if there was any way I could pick up my car today and pay him for the tow and he said he would call me back. the only positive thing about this transaction is that Norm did call me back in a timely manner but still treated me, his customer, as if I murdered his puppy. The conversation went as follows: Norm-Yeah, I'll go back but you better be there because I'm not waiting around for you. And you have to have cash. Me-Okay, how much will it be? Norm (snidely)-Well I don't know I'm not there! And its gonna be a $30 fee for me coming back. Me-Whatever While I was waiting for my ride Norm called to show his dismay that I wasn't there. I gently reminded him that I did not have a car in my possession and that I would be there soon. The minute I walked in the door I was greeted by Norm telling me how he was doing me a big favor and giving me a deal. He towed my car 2 blocks, kept it for 10 hours and charged me $30 extra to go to his OWN business and take my money. He said "I don't normally come back", whatever that means. Its not the money put me off about Norm's Service Center, $95 is pretty standard for a tow, it was the mean, rotten, nasty attitude. I've worked in various forms of customer service for over 15 years and one thing you NEVER do is treat your CUSTOMER like you are doing them some kind of godly favor. You treat your customers like they keep the lights on and put food in your children's mouths.....because they do.

Robs auto service are amazing I had a jeep that had several…read moredifferent auto shops telling me it was everything that it wasn't quoting hundreds of dollars and I went to robs and they said we re calibrated the angle sensor because we think somebody did an alignment and didn't relearn the position and that fixed my jeep that would have cost me at least 2,000$ trial and errors from other service companies I give robs an A++++ Thanks robs!!!!!! Unlike many of the local auto service shops that make you wait forever and attempt to seduce you with free coffee, these guys get right down to business. Best of all, they're honest. I walked in on a busy Monday morning and asked to have my tires looked at, since they were at least five years old. The owner, Russ, was fabulous. He walked me out to my vehicle to show me that (huzzah!) my tires were only half-worn and didn't need replacing yet. (Had I strolled into another local tire place, I probably would have gotten the old, "Oh wow. You've been driving on these for how long? They must be changed immediately!"-routine.) But not Russ and his crew. The one suggestion the owner made was a tire rotation, which I took him up on. Service was speedy and the staff was very customer-friendly. Honesty in the automotive industry is so difficult to find these days. Five stars for Oriskany Garage Tire & Auto!

FANTASTIC SERVICE! My college age son's Subaru overheated…read moreand broke down hours away from our home and his college on a Friday afternoon. I called several auto shops in the area and not one would be open on Saturday. He would have had to wait until Monday for the car to be checked out. I found J&L Auto and my son had the car towed to them. He said they were courteous and knowledgeable. The radiator, thermostat and other things needed were repaired. He even changed the oil and explained to my son why it is so important to be changed on a regular basis. Julio, the owner went out of his way to insure that he could pick up the car and be ready to head home as promised. I highly recommend J&L!
