That doesn't mean he doesn't care and that he is a bad doctor. Far from it. He has always done right by our family and when we have lost pets, they hurt right along with us. He has tried to get more doctors, one retired, and one didn't cut it. So, what is he to do? He does his best. Folks, if you pet dies it isn't anyone's fault. It is their time and no amount of care will change that. There are other places that will take all your money to try to save your pet, knowing full well that your pet will die eventually or have a lesser quality of life. I don't want that. THE WORST VET EVER!!!!! If you want the worst care for your animals from people who don't care about your animals in ANYWAY, then, absolutely go to this pathetic excuse for animal care. I have been to many vets that are below par, but this vet is the lowest of the low. The staff is unprofessional with no follow up and I am disgusted by how terrible they all are there. I have been waiting for a month to get a NEEDED prescription. A prescription that I was told by Dr. Palmini, he would refill. I have had to call MANY MANY times and send MANY emails to try and get Dr Palmini to follow through on HIS words of refilling this very very needed prescription. I am getting ghosted by a place, I am paying for. PATHETIC is the only word that can describe this poor excuse of vet. My cat is getting more and more sick and no one will follow up with me, even though, the doctor is aware of my cats situation, since the last blood tests showed her going from hypothyroid, to hyperthyroid. IF you want to waste your money on a place that has no clue what they are doing, then go to Sano. They also DO NOT offer alternative medicine, as was stated in another review, because my cat has been exposed to extreme amounts of mold and when I tried to ask Dr. Palmini about helping me detox my cat with a binder, he fought me on this request. After lying to my face about our pets, witnessing his employees at the bar drinking and then returning to work, and them calling Animal Control on our family for bringing our pets to him when they needed care I DO NOT trust him or his staff with my animals. I wanted to put this out there for everyone to see because we truly did trust Dr. Palmini for a long time and were appalled by the way he conducted himself to our family. We have removed our 4 dogs from his practice and have had nothing but great care from a different vet. Also, in regards to his employees drinking on the job... we brought this to Dr. Palmini's attention when it happened and he did nothing to solve the problem. My manx cat had lost a lot of weight, I called Sano hospital, explained she was very thin. Kind of amazed I had to wait over 1 1/2 weeks to bring in a SICK animal. This was during Covid, they would not let me come in. I explained my cat was not only a strict indoor car and had had not been in a vehicle for over 8 years at that time nor ever left with strangers. We have been going here for 18 +/- years. Love the staff and Dr. Palmini. He always very kind, and I have never felt judged, even when the condition was due to my carelessness (such as forgetting to close a baby gate.) My dogs have always received excellent care here. Dr Palmini listens to our concerns, and explains his thought processes so that we can make informed decisions regarding our dog's care. They are also terrific when we need an urgent appointment. Dr. Palmini is great about returning phone calls and calling with test results. Dr. Watson seems pretty firm in his belief that natural remedies are better than traditional and doesnt seem to be as receptive to our preferences in the matter. read more

I was nervous at first, because this was my first time not being able to go in with my dog and she's sensitive. Our family dog is coming to the end of her life and we called to get some guidance and help possibly getting some pain meds until we could get her in to put her down. She's in so much pain she can't walk. The woman who answered the phone was HORRENDOUS. Cold, short and completely emotionless towards our situation. She said she would leave a note for the doctor. We called back four days later after not hearing anything and the same woman's response was a hateful and emotionless "I gave him the message. He didn't respond." It has now been two weeks and after still never hearing from the doctor at Sano, we will be taking our dog to Family Vet Hospital in Evergreen. That is what true compassion and care looks like. Sano is a joke. Or maybe it's just the receptionist but I find it hard to believe the vet is unaware of how she treats his customers and clients. Avoid this business at all costs. This vet also cost my dog it life. Brought my dog in as he was not eating and they said that test s needed to be done to determine what was wrong. I agreed and asked when the results would be back from the lab. They stated a couple days as it was over a holiday. I never received a call back with the results after a couple days. I kept calling back several times and only got "the doctor is busy" excuse. I finally decided that my pup could not wait any longer and ended up taking my dog to the emergency dept at another hospital. Thankfully, he is fine now. I have called back asking that the labs rsults be mail to me so that I could get them to my new vet. This hasn't happened, I suspect that the labs were either never taken or never submitted. Can I give no stars? Apparently not. I took my dog here on 09-01-2017 based on the reviews. However it was a mistake. Greeting staff is nice but no one expect to be yelled at entering the hospital..The reason of the visit was that dog threw up and was drooling with open mouth. Dr. Watson checked her, gave Cerenia injection and, prescription of Penicilin, Famotidine and said it'll significantly improve over night. I was told that it must be some poisoning since the throat looks infected. No improvement and I took her next morning back....I took dog back on 09-05-2017 and had to insist the hospital to be seen after 5pm because the condition is same as 9-01-2017. This time Dr. Palmini did check up. I was told that he wants to x-ray. Dog had a steroid shot and steroid prescription that we picked up next day. After a week the steroids were over I noticed that the dogs head is "caving in". I called back the hospital and presented with diagnosis that it's Myositis or tumor. That condition must be treated immediately with steroids instead going with "mantra" looks like she ate something or was bitten by something. When II took back my dog on 10-13-2017 with diagnosis Dr. Watson looked up on the computer and agreed. I ordered the Patient Chart that is full of typos and simply mistakes. They could not locate the x-ray that was done on 09-05-2017 saying that I wasn't charged for it. Mr. Watson appears to be alternative medicine specialist that is, probably, fine when your animal is healthy and you want to spend time and monies on placibo. My dog was misdiagnosed, mistreated. I took her to the VCA clinic and they put her immediately back on steroids and advised to do extensive blood test and urine test. Which we did. However the dogs head has atrophy and we have to deal with that for the rest of her life. I would not be surprised that they send you with pack of herbs to meditate outside saying that will do the healing. Meanwhile I am awaiting from the owner of this clinic explanation and number and carrier of their Medical Malpractice policy. I will also consider that Board of Veterinary Medicine of Colorado check into this case. They may be good selling wellness plans and vaccinating.. but that's about it. If you care: be aware. Still waiting for their Medical Malpractice policy...Later update: these charlatans don't even respond to BBB: claim #12443085. Will see what Veterinary Board of Colorado have to say but by any means they are busy to encourage to write 5* reviews but if you have a medical condition you go elsewhere. Went here with a dog with a collapsed trachea. They took an x-ray, but never showed me the results. Called and called trying to get an estimate on how bad the collapse is. Waited and waited as my dog got worse. Going on two weeks, I just went over and took my x-ray and results and will find someone who cares. I love everything about this practice! They offer a full spectrum of healthcare for your animal. Traditional medicine, alternative medicine. The vets are very caring and very good. The front end staff is very patient, warm, and loving towards you and your animal. I never feel any pressure when I am in there too spend money on tests.... I guess I am trying to say: they are willing to work within your budget in the very best way possible for your pet. I have been to other veterinary offices, specifically in Evergreen, CO where there is so much pressure and guilt to run a battery of tests on your animal that drives the price of the visit up high enough to compete with your mortgage payment. This is never the case at Sano. Dr Palimmim and Dr Watson have mad skills, like an old school vet combined with animal whispere skills, they can help your pet. The vet techs are very kind and helpful to. Everybody in this practice was put there to keep your pet healthy and at a cost that is reasonable to vettrinary care. I love Sano hospital! read more

I would not recommend taking a pet to Sano. We were new to the area and took our lab there for a few months. Our lab was struggling with fecal incontinence. Vet said it was dementia. That didn't seem right and thanks to our dog sitter were able to figure out it was a spine/nerve issue. Began treating with CBD for dogs and the incontinence stopped. Went back to the vet and he said we were right. We should have left this practice then but sadly did not. Our lab stopped eating and was in pain a couple months later so we went back to the vet. He did some blood work, said it wasn't terminal and to come back the next day for an ultrasound. Didn't give us any pain meds. Our lab worsened in the night and was suffering. We called their emergency number. That was totally worthless and of no help. Told us to wait until tomorrow or go to an emergency vet in Denver over an hour away. Sadly, our beloved lab died not long after this call. So upsetting. I feel we left our lab down by going back to this vet and practice. Even when we called to cancel the ultrasound and explained that he had died, they were not sympathetic at all. read more

I will NEVER go back to this clinic and I suggest to people looking for a vet to do your research . I took my cat here to find out Sylvester had kidney failure , they NEVER gave Sylvester any type of medication only IV fluids to stay hydrated . Two weeks later Sylvester had to be euthanized. I should of walked away from this clinic then . I took my dog Annie for a wellness check and expressed to Dr Palmini , that Annie had lost weight and it appeared she was straining to urinate. He did her wellness check , never listened to my concerns and said " Annie's IS in pretty good health other than her arthritis. Two weeks later Annie just didn't seem right and I made another appointment to have her blood tested since she just had her wellness exam they charged me re-visit exam. Dr Palmini , stated she had a urine infection and she was anemic and needed to run other test, this was on a Saturday April 28, 2019. Annie was on medication for her urine infection but stopped eating , I called on Monday talked with Palmini , about Annie not eating he said stop the medication to see if she regained her hunger . Tuesday May 4 , 2019 I called again Annie was not eating at 2pm I went home to a dog in distress Annie's gums were white I immediately loaded her up took her to SANO. Where Dr Palmini told me Annie's belly was full of blood , and it had gone into her chest cavity , Annie must of had a tumor that ruptured in her stomach and it was bleeding her survival rate was minimal and it was best to euthanize her . Dr Palmini stated tumors can come on quickly ( I may not be a vet but I am not stupid) tumor don't grow and rupture in two days DR PALMINI!!!! Had YOU done a professional wellness exam , you money grubbing prick , OR diagnosed Annie correctly from the start my dog would still be alive.....I will have to live the rest of my life kicking myself regretting that I took her to SANO when I should of took her to ( Plan Pet hood Dr Jeff) from the start ...I will NEVER forgive Dr Palmini and I strongly encourage anyone NOT to go here ...don't make the costly mistake I made , do yourself a favor and take your pets to a vet that knows their stuff . Dr. Palmini acted like he knew what he was doing but he did not do the correct procedure on our dog and if we hadn't taken our dog to a different vet his leg would have needed to be amputated or worse. Everybody was nice. The appointment was fast but I only asked if they would check out my cats ears to see if he had allergies. Well, he did but I was charged for a full cat evaluation and for them to check his ears. Not to mention the ear ointment which I found out after some research is practically Neosporin that they charged me $40 for. I guess if I had to go back I would but I'll known that I'll be paying $$$ like crazy. read more

Today is a very sad day for me. Friday I called Sano to request a refill of pain medication for my fourteen year old boxer, which can no longer stand without help. The receptionist said it had been awhile since she had been in. I explained the next time she comes in, it will be to lay her down. She said she would ask the doctor about refilling the RX. I called back today after not receiving any response from them. I was curtly informed the doctor had not responded. I asked her what that meant. She said he did not respond. I again explained the condition of my dog and the fact that I would have to have help to put her in the truck, as I also am aging and not able to lift her up that far. I was met with the most deafening silence for several seconds, as if to say, _ uck you; or at least that was the impression she left. I said thank you and hung up. I cried when I hung up thinking that someone could be so heartless and cruel as to let an animal suffer over not being able to schedule a $70 office visit. I was hoping to get a few more ear scratches and long conversations before having to say goodbye to my best friend. If this is the treatment you want for your furry family member(s), then I guess I would highly recommend them. read more
