I, too, find the people here to be very friendly and compassionate, professional, and on all levels communicate well and in a timely manner. I am very appreciative that Dr. Hitchcock, who did some dental extractions for my cat yesterday, called me that afternoon and filled me in. Today (day after the extractions) I left a vm about an hour after their office had closed on Sat about my concerns on my cat's pain and pain med administration (tricky for us). Dr. Brett called me back and said I could bring my cat in right then and he'd show me some tips on how to administer an oral syringe for a cat and he would check my cat out. He gave my cat some pain meds, fluids and antibiotics, treatment and showed me how to do the syringe and both the cat and I felt much better. And he didn't charge me for that extra visit. We've used Front Range Vet for many years for various cats and dogs and really appreciate their care. We recommend them! read more

I tried to get my beloved pet to them when I did not think our pet was not getting the best treatment because the veterinarian we were using was sick. When I did take him to them they put him on a prescription that caused him to have low blood pressure and they charged me for 400 dollars for the prescription to continue his care. He passed 2 weeks later. He never was around to take all the medication so I threw everything in the trash and they never called to see how he was doing. I was a long time Chewy customer and when they learned about his passing they sent a condolence card and flowers. That says it all. read more

~Obviously, this review is a personal opinion and should be taken with a grain of salt.~ They, somehow, managed to have this review removed from Google twice - once by myself, once by my husband. Let's see if it stays here. I'm not sure just how ignorant you folks think I am. My animal tests negative for kidney issues and thyroid issues, yet you try to insist he "probably" still has them. You're concerned about his weight loss, despite us telling you he was on a diet and the weight loss was not rapid or excessive. Then, you try to just randomly claim he might have lymphoma, in spite of the fact he has none of the symptoms and no tests to support your claim. Honestly, when you called me, it sounded like you were reading off of some sort of script - meant to worry me into spending more money. Utterly shameless. read more

I have been bringing both of my dogs to Front Range for the last 5 or 6 years. I first selected Front Range because they were conveniently located and had good reviews. I have since moved, and they're no longer conveniently located, but they take such good care of my babies that it's worth it to me to drive out of my way. I have seen Dr. Sarah, Dr. Brett and Dr. Kelly numerous times and for everything from routine checkups and shots to skin issues to eye issues to grooming. One of my dogs is a rescue and has always been fairly aggressive when being handled by anybody but me. I've experienced judgement and criticism about his behavior from other vets and groomers, and I get SO nervous taking him anywhere. The doctors at Front Range don't even flinch when handling him. Granted, he's pretty small, but he can be very difficult. I never worry about taking him to their office...they've always treated him with care and understanding. I would rate them 6 stars if I could. read more

After two years of taking my three pets to Front Range, I have made a decision to make a change. I believe Dr. Brett is an excellent veterinarian who cares for pets and their people. However, his staff left me with the feeling that I was somewhere between an inconvenience and an outright nuisance. Phone messages were not returned on multiple occasions, when I spoke to someone and they said they would call me back they didn't. The attitude of the front desk staff was not warm nor welcoming, often it was outright rude. Perhaps they are overworked or burnt out, but veterinary services are just that services, I expect to be treated with respect and have my time valued. I tried to overlook it because I like Dr. Brett so much but ultimately, even though Front Range is in a convenient location for me, I am now looking elsewhere. read more

I had a great experience here. Front Range Vet Clinic seems to have adapted their operation very well in regards to the current global situation. Staff was super accommodating and they all seemed happy to be doing what they do. The receptionist was super knowledgeable, and answered all my questions with ease. We recently had to put down our beloved dog Sandi. Dr. Bret and the whole staff at the clinic were so kind, compassionate and professional throughout her illness and in her final moments that it's difficult to describe. It was as if Sandi was their dog too, they seemed to understand how difficult this all was and made a very difficult time so much easier. read more

Is it usually this hard to get through to reception? How about booking an appointment? Was on hold for 6 mins and called back few mins later, asked to hold again. When I asked if there's a better time to call back, was told no, they "are always swamped"... We are walking distance. I'd love to sign up here. If you are a current patient, do they look like they are always swamped? read more

Our first time here and were very impressed. It normally takes 2 weeks to get an appointment, but they had a "visiting doctor" so they got us in same day. I was delighted with the caring attitudes of the staff, calling our cat by name. And the visiting doctor was Dr. Jamie Akers, who handled our cat like she is the most precious cat ever (well, she is!). We took 12 yr old Sunny in because she's been losing weight. Dr. Akers was respectful and kind to us, and didn't chastize us for not taking our indoor cats to the vet very often. The techs took Sunny to another part of the clinic to draw blood. We heard her disapproval a few times, and she was certainly nervous. When they brought her back, she hurried into the crate she normally hates and we took her home, where she hurried OUT of the crate! Our other cat thinks Sunny has an odor about her reminiscent of animal clinics and is keeping her distance. All in all, we are very happy with Dr. Akers and the staff at Foothills. We have found our veteranarian of choice. read more

These guys were great from start to finish. First , they came highly recommended by one of our new neighbors (we just moved to Colorado from Chicago two months prior). I called on a Tuesday and got an appt with Dr. Brett (who we requested) for that same week on Saturday. Score! We were going to be in St. Louis for Thanksgiving until early Saturday am and then leaving for Hawaii at 6am on Sunday morning. We literally had about a six hour window to get our miniature schnauzer, Billy in and checked out. Our vet in Chicago got his records over to Front Range and our file was all put together and ready to go when I checked in at the front desk. The staff were excellent! Super friendly to both me and Billy. Lots of jokes, compliments, and pleasant conversation. I felt very welcome and positive within a few minutes after stepping through the door. Dr Brett was great and so was his assistant (forgot her name...) and we got Billy's complete exam and three vaccinations in under ten minutes. The bill some out as expected and probably less than what I would have paid in Chicago (judging from what I have shelled out for similar services in the Windy City). I got a report card and print off of all his vaccinations and next due dates before a lovely send-off to Hawaii. Billy came out happy and I felt even better when I got a call two hours later from the office saying his stool sample was free of parasites. I've never gotten this "all clear" call before two days after an appt. All in all, I am very happy with my experience at Front Range and looking forward to our next visit (probably more so than Billy). read more

For the last 20 years growing up, our family brought our pets to Dr Sargent. Wonderful vets and office staff, feel like family. They have diagnosed our animals thoroughly and always helped us with any health concerns we have for our animals. They have compassionately euthanized 4 family dogs over the years and sent us cards in remembrance of our pets. read more

I have been using this clinic for over 30 years for all of my animals (Dogs & Cats), and my kids(now out of the area) measure their vet care by the excellent standards Dr Sargent has set. My biggest problem is when they ask me which Doctor I prefer I cannot choose between them , because they are all excellent. I have had only excellent care for my pets from all the personnel and the doctors and would recommend this clinic above all others in the area. read more

Absolutely love this vet clinic! I've never been let down with our doctor and the staff here! We noticed our one dog kept sticking her tongue out and had horrible breath, Dr. Kelley very quickly diagnosed her with low thyroid! Since having her on medication she doesn't stick her tongue out anymore, her breath is so much better and she's lost weight! I could go on and on with all the great things Front Range has done. Absolutely love all of the staff at Front Range! I have a very unpredictable Mastiff and they have been caring for him for years. They are always sweet and gentle with him and have never caused me any concerns with their interactions. They are informative and have the ability to explain things in a manner that is easy to understand. They are great with answering questions and returning calls in a timely fashion. I have never felt that they recommend unnecessary tests or procedures. I trust them completely with the care of my baby! read more

I have had the great pleasure of taking my dog to Dr. Brett for close to 9 years. I couldn't have been more pleased with him and the entire staff. Dr. Brett has correctly diagnosed and treated Bradley for everything from anxiety (lightning issues) to ear infections ( a beagle), to mysterious lumps and general check ups. Every time he was spot on with his solutions. Dr. Brett has always used the most effective tool to help him reach a conclusion. Things like biopsies, ultra sound , X-ray , whatever it took. He left no stone unturned. I highly recommend this Vet Clinic to anyone who loves their pet and is looking for top notch care. read more
