The doctors are the best in the area, and if you have a sports injury, this would be the place to go. They serve quite a few area athletes. The problem, though, is that it then becomes hard to get an appointment. I booked an appointment two weeks out, and even then, I didn't see the doctor I made the appointment with. I saw one of his associates. But it didn't really matter because everybody seemed qualified and on top of their games. It's convenient that they are partnered with the Olathe Medical System, so major scans, like MRI's, are done across the street at the hospital, as are surgeries.

I usually figure OPKS is a safe, proper haven, but stay away and go somewhere that's not a hole in the wall with rude employees and no customers.

Once arriving, the check-in process is smooth. New patients must present ID and insurance. Once you're in the system, only an updated insurance card is needed (if applicable). Larry has a great "bedside manner," very professional and knowledgeable, but he always surprises me with his common sense. Example: I had an orthopedist tell me I'd need knee surgery soon. I told Larry, and he told me that's what they get paid for - doing knee surgeries. Larry instead gave me a three injection treatment that I've done twice now, and it helps tremendously. I don't think I've ever had a bad experience with this practice. They are Christian-based (I think) but all that's meant to me is they care about their patients. I can't recommend College Park Family Care highly enough, and I'm old enough to have had experience with *lots* of doctors. :)

On my first visit he prescribed pain medicine for 2 weeks. He would not refill until I saw him again. He told me the next visit he would file my insurance and I would not have to pay another $250. When I arrived, the whole scenario changed. He was requiring me to pay another $250 dollars or he would not see me. He, and his staff lied to me. I am reporting him to the Kansas State Medical Board. I would be cautious if you decide to seem him. It is a Scam and he was very rude to me.

I went to my appointment with the thought of removing the toenail, as per all the previous doctors I had shown it to - NP, PCP and even Dermatologists and he made me feel at ease and told me not to worry, and that we will work on it with his treatment (so practical and easy to follow) to eradicate the issue. I left the appointment feeling confident and worry free. The staff was very sweet and guided me well. The clinic was clean and organized. Highly recommended!

I went to my primary care physician and another podiatrist and received unsatisfactory recommendations. I was then referred to Dr. Roith and immediately appreciated the way he looked for and addressed the "root cause" of my foot pain and developed a surgical plan accordingly, as a final resort. That foot surgery was nothing short of life-changing. Now in my twenties, I am living a very active, pain-free life, and am able to do all things I missed out on as a teenager due to foot pain. The first time, I was sent there by my Dr. This time, I was given a choice of several places and I chose to go to SERC....and they weren't even on the list! Nate is AMAZING! He takes the time to really find the spots that need to be worked on, and is the only person who can pop my back in the middle! Also, a couple of years ago, my son needed PT and Jack was his therapist. She really took the time to make sure he knew what to do at home and helped him to heal the right way. All in all....I would recommend SERC to anyone needing physical therapy!
