While vacationing in Cabo San Lucas, I typically hit Walmart and Costco for my week's supplies.
Last visit, Costco quantities were just too much, so I skipped it on this visit.
Yup, "Walnar" was my go-to out of the gates. Man, I forgot how crappy that place was...no bueno.
Needing additional supplies, I decided to look for a local market to pick up some odds 'n ends a day after my arrival - found Santa Carmela on the map.
It turned out to be a great little market - I visited twice (maybe three times?)
Smaller quantities of products from produce, dairy, deli items (fresh guac and salsa), beer, snacks and Cabo Unico tequila!
For me, it sucks to be in a huge market on vacation. I loved stopping by a smaller, local market with quality goods - that was Santa Carmela.
The signage is not great and could be easy to miss, so look for it carefully, you won't be disappointed.
4 stars for this nice little market.
