Dr. Aley is very personable and took the time to understand my injury. (I was T-boned by an idiot who ran a stop sign.) I had a lot of pain in upper back, my trapezius and SCM muscles. He took the time to explain exactly what happened to me during the wreck and pin pointed the area damaged and what he had to do to heal my injury. After three visits I began to feel relief. Scheduled an appointment on July 28th 2023 at this clinic. I have seen Chiropractor's for years and this experience was horrific. This appears to be a new Chiropractor who shares this office. I am not that old and have NEVER had a chiropractor who was not able to adjust me. In fact, when he said he was done, I was shocked, This chiropractor said it may take him 2-4 visits before getting any movement from me and that it's much easier for him to adjust younger people! Not only was that insulting but he discriminated against me because I'm not in my 20's or 30's but really? Who does that?!?! I would give this new Chiropractor a 0 but it is not a option. I would stay clear of seeing this chiropractor and go to someone professional and clearly with more experience. This speaks volumes about him and his character. read more

Services were great, the doctor was attentive and had my kinked neck fixed in 2 visits. The problem is their insurance biller. They have you pay out of pocket until they bill your insurance to see if it will be less, at the time we hadn't met out deductible (it was February 2019) so we paid as expected. At year end I had met my out of pocket for insurance and noticed my claims (nor my husbands) hadnt been billed. So I called and requested she bill them. Two months later I hadn't heard anything so I called again, Julie assured me she billed them so I called my insurance and they informed me she hadn't billed both dates and that there was some supporting paperwork she needed to submit and that she had been notified. LONG, LONG story short my insurance won't pay out for them because either the waited too long to submit the claims (per her in network contract) or she won't submit the correct paperwork (also per her in network contract), which is not something that stops her from refunding me. She is refusing to refund me still, last I talked with her I gave her all specific detailed information she needed to contact my insurance and get me my several hundreds of dollars refunded. She was extremely hostile and tried to shame me for asking for my money back. Going as far as to ask if I am "really suffering without the refund". I am still waiting to see if she will refund me, if not my health insurance is planning on sending her a legal letter obligating her to. If I ever receive my money I will update my review. I will never return and make sure I share this experience with my friends and family. It's a shame because the doctor was excellent. read more

Doctor Aley is a professional. As a service Electrician, I get twisted and uneven hips often. I visit him twice a month for routine maintenance. I FEEL GREAT! Each time I called for an appointment Julie and the other ladies have gotten my appointment in ASAP and they accept my insurance. There is also a massage side I'm interested to explore. read more

I went to a chiropractor years ago. I was told I was so messed up that I had to go back 5 days a week for a long time. I hurt so bad after I left his office! I have been very hesitant to try another chiropractor after that experience. I finally went in to see Dr. Alley. He was the most caring, gentle person I have ever met. He fixed my problem and told me to come back when I needed to. Not come back every day. He wasn't looking for money. He genuinely just wanted to help me feel better. I recently moved back to Eugene after being gone for 10 years. I had a chiropractor previously in town but wanted one closer to my house. Dr. Aley was close so I decided to give him a try. Typically if I don't go to the chiropractor for several months I usually am pretty sore after my appointment. Not only was I not sore, Dr. Aley adjusted my back differently than I had ever before and it worked awesome! My mid back rarely moves and it was like a zipper coming undone. I felt great and was so pleased with his professional demeanor and time to talk to me to figure out a good treatment plan for me. My neck which is always an issue for me felt good as well. I've been waiting over 15 minutes beyond my scheduled time and I am yet to see the Dr. Aley. As a teacher using her prep period to make this appointment, I'm a bit frustrated that my time is not respected. Was told by the receptionist that he "takes a long time with patients." Dr. Aley, Santa Clara Chiropractic Center, is the best! My mother was recently quite ill but also suffered from a misalignment in her lower back. He got her in same day and then advised me that he was very concerned about her general health - the next day I found out she had pneumonia! The care and concern he showed is so appreciated. I've had some experience with chiropractors, seen maybe a dozen in my life, even worked for a couple of them as a massage therapist. Scot Aley stands out, way out, as the best, most effective chiro I have ever known. Ever hear the joke (told to me by a chiropractor friend), "how many chiropractors does it take to screw in a lightbulb?" Answer: "Just one, but it takes a hundred times" Dr. Aley is not one of those. He does not try to set you up with endless visits, he gets to the heart of the matter by using professional inquiry, done in a very personable and caring way, then he fixes you in as few visits as possible, usually one does it for me.
