Filed a sexual assault report against Bradford Gregory Lawrence of El Gancho. I met the guy at a…read morebar, ended up drinking more than I could handle and he took advantage of me. The situation was super confusing because Bradford Gregory Lawrence actually maintained contact with me afterwards, presumably in order to confuse the situation and what that incident was all about. Once I realized what had happened, I verbally reprimanded the man and he actually even threatened me. I then filed a police report. As far as I know, one cannot consent while mentally incapacitated. Ultimately though, the police believed his word over mine and labeled the report 'unfounded.' Bradford Gregory Lawrence had actually made up a story saying that I was fighting another woman at the bar for him! The cops didn't even check the cameras of the restaurant/bar where we interacted to corroborate what Bradford Gregory Lawrence told them. The cops were actually more interested in asking me what my occupation was and how my credit is! At the end, they simply took his word over mine. The police officers at the center told me no crime had occurred and that if I was bothered by what had happened I should go seek free therapy at a local sexual assault center, Solace Sexual Assault Center.

Fair warning I was here to work. But, this place is nice. I think this place was converted from…read moresome college that went under with the requisite dorm rooms attached. The lobby is a bit daunting but I guess a police station/ academy shouldn't be required to be cosy. Beyond the foyer the building is chock full of tributes to fallen officers and other ephemera of the works from our officers. I had the "pleasure" of witnessing the current batch of recruits be tested by being pepper sprayed in the face then having to wrestle a trainer. This really brought home the sacrifices they go through to get to protect and serve our community. I have no idea what a Yelp! review will do but this place is nice so I thought I'd say so.

I just received a flyer in the mail from NM department of health in Santa Fe . They proudly state…read morethat their flyer is paid for by Pfizer. Who makes billions, yes billions in profits from the sale of vaccines! It makes me wonder how much kickback money NM politicians get for their political campaigns from Pfizer. My problem with this political arm twisting is that the first words on the flyer state that "Records show" I may be missing adult shots. Whose records?! This statement is deliberately ambiguous! And if they supposedly have my medical records (which they do not have my permission) why are they then stating that I "may" be missing these shots. They are making a threat that I "maybe " at risk! By the way I am a veteran. And have been receiving 100% of my care from the VA. If I find out that somebody at the VA is releasing my data I will pursue legal action. Care which I have been receiving since 2017.

Kudos To NM State Vaccine…read more I just got my 1st vaccine through the NM Department of Health. This has to be one of the best if not the best program in the country. I had been notified that I could pre-register for a vaccine at the NM State Site, https://cvvaccine.nmhealth.org/my-registration.html. Pre-registration was easy and quick. I was told I would be notified when the vaccine was available. I also got my registration code. Then I got a text and email directing me to the same site to fill out my profile which included personal information, demographic information, employer information, insurance information, and information on chronic medical conditions. This time the link took me to a page that had my registration code pre-entered. All I had to do was enter my birth date. The profile page was well laid out and easy to complete. It only took me about 15 minutes to complete everything. REALLY EASY Less than a week later I received another text & email notifying me that the vaccine is now available and to sign-up on a first-come, first serve basis. I clicked the link in the text, the same link as before, and entered the special event code provided in the text & email. I was able to select a date and time for my vaccine at NM Expo, the fairgrounds. My appointment was displayed at the top of the page and I received appointment reminders by text & email 3 days before, the day before, and the day of my vaccine. I arrived at NM Expo - Fairgrounds, 300 San Pedro NE, about 15 minutes before my appointment and there was about 100 cars ahead of me. I was thinking this was going to take forever, but I was wrong! I had chosen the first time slot of the day and at the appointed time the cars started moving. The traffic control was excellent with no cutting in line and no confusion as to where to go. We were asked if we had any mobility issues because they had accommodations for those that needed them. I was quickly directed to a parking spot, walked into an arena with good ventilation and social distancing markings. They had about 10 vaccination stations and when our turn came, they asked for my birth date, confirmed my name, asked in which arm I wanted my shot, provided written confirmation of which shot (mine was Pfizer), date and time of the shot. They even scheduled my 2nd (booster) shot for 3 weeks later. This whole process only took about 5 minutes including the wait in line. I was then directed to a socially distanced seating area for observation. Depending on which vaccine you receive, it will be either 15 or 30 minutes. While sitting there I received another text/email thanking me for getting my vaccine and providing a link to a Pfizer vaccine fact sheet. , And finally, they sent me another text with the date and time of my 2nd shot. If I had wanted to change the appointment I could have done so on the website. I received another text/email at the end of my waiting period telling me I as free to leave. It took me less than 30 minutes from my appointment time to when I was walking out the door. As I was leaving I noticed that there was no line of cars waiting to get in. This was the best organized and staffed event I have ever experienced. Richard Braziel
