If you like history and want to see a little bit of everything in Santa Fe, Ana is an amazing tour guide! It's a wonderful private tour filled with great stories, some drive by time, some walking, and just a whole lot of learning. Highly recommend! read more

My husband and I visited Santa Fe, NM in April 2022. We really enjoyed Ana's history tour. She is a wealth of knowledge and is a passionate storyteller. Oh, don't hesitate to ask Ana about her thematic presentations. We enjoyed the city tour so much that we also arranged a live presentation with her on New Mexico Death Rituals and Spirituality. A projector, a laptop, and a bottle of wine all made a very enjoyable evening. Highly recommend it! read more

Meet the Business Owner: Ana P.

Ana Pacheco's family settled in Santa Fe in 1692, she is the former historian for the city. Pacheco is the author of eight books on New Mexico history and the founding publisher and editor of La Herencia, a quarterly magazine on New Mexico history. Her new book, "Death in New Mexico," will be published in November 2019. Pacheco has received numerous awards during her publishing career from organizations like PEN New Mexico and the National Association of Press Women. Pacheco also writes a history column for the Santa Fean magazine, presents history lectures and teaches a class on Santa Fe's history, art and culture.
