Had other accounts at other banks, but those banks sometimes were too pushy with promotions, or their monthly charges for your accounts made me go back to the no thrills, very friendly, Webster Five. (Where "everybody knows your name"!!) They are always ready to answer questions, help you when you forgot your online password after closing time, and have the dog biscuit ready when the see the dog via the 'drive-up window. I have NEVER had even the slightest issue with anything dealing with them. and As far as I am concerned I would rate them higher then any other bank.

But then I came to the consensus when my life started getting increasingly busy and the time I had to go to the bank was minimal. Sure, there was (and still is) a Sovereign/Santander in my own town rather than driving out of town, however banking at my normal supermarket was much more ideal. This Citizens Bank location sits inside the Walpole Super Stop&Shop along Route 1A in Walpole. There is a Citizens Bank in almost every single Stop&Shop, which also contributed to my decision of switching to Citizens (as my favorite supermarket, that I shop the most frequently is Stop&Shop). It's open much later than most other bank chains in the area. Monday through Friday they are open 10am-7pm, Saturday 10am-5pm, and Sunday 10am-3pm. The regular team of guys who work here are always happy, energetic and always joking around. Huge bin of lollipops, barely ever a line, and great policies and benefits (especially in comparison to Sovereign / Santander!) 5 stars for this Citizens Bank!

I have been a customer since 2004 and had…read morea so/so experience, but not bad enough to go through the torture of switching banks until my most recent encounter. I was at the bank making a deposit. I asked the teller if she would order checks for me on the same account, which she did. I got the check order and was a little annoyed that the checks started with 101 but whatever. I didn't look at the account number, which I should have but didn't. We have two checking accounts one of which we don't use that had a 0 dollar balance. She had ordered the checks on this account by mistake. We didn't catch the error until we had racked up $140.00 in fees(including the cost of the checks). I called customer service and they sent me to the branch. Got to the branch where I was told it was my fault, but they would look into it. They didn't even waive the check fee when they ordered the checks on the correct account. I never heard back and have since switched banks.

Needed to get some $$ out from a Citizens Bank, and after searching the area and the Citizens website, it was either coming here or to the Stop&Shop on Old Connecticut Path. Wasn't really in the mood to go to the Stop&Shop bank since in the past they were rude, and Old Connecticut Path was a bit out of the way of Shoppers World. Anyway, this bank is located on Route 9, extremely close to the Route 126 (Concord Street) intersection, and very close to Route 30. Accessible via Route 9 & 126. Large parking lot and 2 entrances (front, Rt 9 entrance for ATM). Employee James is friendly, helpful, and kind, and very efficient at getting all customers through the line quickly. Open M-Th 9-4, Fr 9-6, Sa 9-1. Convenient bank along Route 9 for the Golden Triangle and Natick / Framingham area. -1 star for no drive-thru, but overall good bank. 4 stars.
