They lost our tree, but they made you pay for it first so we didn't know they lost it until we waited on line for them to wrap it for two hours. They lost a lot of other peoples trees that day too. Really poor service. Save yourself the headache. read more

Hate to say this but it was a total mess. We picked a tree and cut it down. We were told we can go up and pay for it and it'll be ready. After waiting online for half an hour for food we then waited online for another 2 hours to find out our tree wasn't even there. I had to walk back a quarter of a mile and found my tree still waiting there where we left it two hours ago and bring it back up myself just for them to wrap it and then tie it on my car myself. There was no order to it, and by the time we were leaving, people seemed on the verge of storming the place to find their own trees just to leave. I definitely will not be returning to this place. And this is a shame because last year the place was so organized and run so smooth it's a shame to see how disorganized it was read more

Do not go! We arrived at 10 picked out our tree. Paid for our tree, Grabbed food and went into the gift shop. We stood in line to pick up our tree for two hours. Our tree was nowhere inside. The line was at least 50 people long. It didn't move for at least 30 minutes. Once it started moving, they were handing the wrong tree to the wrong person. They lost a couple of trees (maybe tagged incorrectly). After waiting 2 1/2 hours, my husband walked back out into the field. He found our trees still in the field, along with at least 30 more. The manager said "it's running better than yesterday because yesterday the line was four hours long" and she had an attitude. There was no organization, they had one truck that could only fit maybe four trees at most bringing trees back. It was a terrible experience. read more

We had a terrible experience with our purchase this year. The workers and trees were perfect but we waited on the tree pick up line for almost 3 hours in the freezing cold. A terrible experience and not recommended for anyone unless you want to waste a perfectly great afternoon This was a typical management issue as the WORST process on earth. Our family has very mixed feelings about Santas Christmas tree farm. Every year we usually go to the other place down the street but this year, they were closed which meant this place was a disaster on black friday and extremely poorly organized. It is partly their fault and partly just what it is. So first, trees here are excellent, really high quality and nice. They were $100 this year for most or $120 for slightly taller ones. We arrived at 10am and it was pretty easy to find someone to cut down our tree and tag it. However, we spent 2 more hours waiting in line to actually get the tree to our car and find it between the storage places and everywhere else. It was stressful with our 3 year old and we had to keep her entertained by spending money everywhere. We bought food, spent $10 for the bounce houses that kept deflating, tried to go ice skating, and went shopping in the store. During this whole time, people realized they could skip this line by just carrying your tree to the front and having them net it there instead of following their process. This was allowed and was a disaster. It meant that we waited in line for 2 hours. Not fun. I understand they were overwhelmed today but they knew this was going to happen as the place down the street was closed this year. Why couldn't you prepare better knowing this? read more

Nice place to bring kids but absolute rip off for trees and a scam. I messaged them on Instagram asking for the cost and what kind of trees. Someone read the message but didn't respond. I asked someone when we got there, they told me 7-8 ft trees were $100. Pricey but, fine. There are NO prices anywhere until you get to the stand to pay. The 8 ft trees was $120, 9ft $175 all up to $225 ( and let me tell You, they have these kids measuring to the very top branch). The fun part, when they cut the bottom off, you're not getting the height you're paying for. We ended up having to go get another tree bc ours was a bit over 8ft (talking centimeters) and they were charging us for a 9 ft. I'm not sure how many people in this day can afford a $175 tree. You then have to get a ticket, walk back, pay then wait on another line to get your tree. Definitely a place to go to if you have all day. We waited over an hour to get our tree and thankfully it was there. Others were in line ahead of us and still had to wait. Many activities for kids but, be prepared to pay for everything ($10 for a 30 second pony ride). The positives were the extremely helpful workers on the farm and the Santa was very kind and patient with kids. Will be going back to Lewins or Shamrock next year where the prices were the same no matter what size and process was much quicker. Also, the dogs. There are huge signs everywhere for people not to pet them and absolutely no one was listening. read more

I come every year to refresh some tree ornaments. I was surprised to see a full lot with someone directing traffic . There are new owners this year and it may be becoming a bit of a spectacle like other nearby farms. Some things are the same, but there are some additions. The place is full of ornaments and all of your decoration needs. Tons of vintage style glass ornaments, and enough that you can put together a particular theme for your tree or get a special unique ornament. Tree toppers, houses for your Christmas village, you name it. Santa is there for a photo op. What did the new owners bring to the table? Bouncy houses. "sledding" dogs, llamas, and chickens. I think they plan to start a petting zoo type situation. I'm not sure how I feel about this, I don't like animals being exploited for entertainment. I hope they take good care of these animals and treat them kindly. read more

I was just here yesterday with the fam and a friend! My uncle found this place while we were trying to find a spot to go to for my 11 year old son to cut his own tree for the first time. We're city folks so this was all about the experience for us. We got so much more than we expected! **BTW, this place is CASH ONLY** There was a huge selection of trees, all sizes! We stayed near the front of the trees to cut since we were getting one on the smaller side, so the only trees i saw were Fraser Firs I believe. They did get larger as you headed back more. There was someone nearby for us to ask for a saw and help. Someone was at us in mere minutes! They saw my son was having a hard time and showed him how to saw it, and even offered to saw it and then just let him finish it off at the end, which he took him up on. It was ticketed and picked up by their pick-up truck and one of us went to pay for it and get it netted and tied to car. A tree about 5ft cost $98. My son decided we were going to partake in most of the other activities there, no arms needed to be twisted! We did the ice skating on their synthetic ice skating rink. They had lil booties to slip on your shoes so you could walk on the ice if you didn't want to skate, but wanted to be with and help your kid(s). That was a great idea! It was great 45° weather to skate! That was another first for him and it looked like all kids and adults were having a great time! It was only $5 for skate rental and skating per person. There's a place to take pics with Santa, the Grinch walking around to take pics with, and a few props to take pics on your own! There's fire pits with lots of seating and a few eating spots in that area. There was a spot for epic hot cocoa, with a giant toasted marshmallow on top. There was another one, our fav, with Dreesens donuts made on the spot! We tried powdered sugar and old fashioned and they tasted like heaven! Crisp on the outside from being freshly fried and soft on the inside! They also sold cookie decorating kits and Smores kits you can make right there at their fire pits!There was hot cider, popcorn, an actual food truck with BBQ pork belly, ribs, chicken fingers, fries... you get the point! If you don't find a spot to sit at the fire pits, there's plenty of room at the picnic tables. It smelled like camping and it was amazing. The kid toasted his marshmallows at the pits while we got some spiced warmed wine (which they sold by the cup and also bottles to take home) which is now the only way i want to drink wine ever! There was a live band whom played classic songs, such as Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Beatles. It was truly amazing. On the way out the kid hit up thy bouncy house, $5 per person, $10 per family, and then we hit up the store to get some ornaments. The only negative about this place is that they only have 5 port-o-potties which don't look well maintained. I wouldn't use them and just waited till we got home. But plenty of people were using them and came out alive! There was plenty of parking as well. The vibes and atmosphere of this place scream Christmas time! Stopped by this busy yet beautiful farm on our trip out East as we were drawn in by the beautifully decorated buildings and property. Although we had already gotten our Christmas tree , we wanted to stop into the gift shop and check out the food trucks. First, it's a great place for families, lots of things for kids to do. We're without kids so it was a bit much for us (too busy, too much commotion, nowhere to sit near fire). Parking is well managed as you are guided by staff. One of the first things I noticed was the animals. I noticed the owner defending them below stating that they are animal lovers/activists but I couldn't help but notice that the dogs looked less than pleased. 'Santa's Dogs' as they were called, wanted no attention and even became upset when other dogs approached the pen. I felt bad for them. Too much activity. They offer pony rides and have some chickens to view. All look well cared for but it's a lot of stimulation. They also have a cute ice skating rink, a variety of food trucks, vendors offering wine tasting and sales, warm fires to sit around (if you can find room) and live music. We entered the gift shop close to 4:15 which was a mistake, it was close to closing time, 5, and it was busy with a long line, we left. We did enter the field to check out the trees which were nice. We like full trees but only have a less that 7' ceiling so need a short one. We found some that would have been perfect if we didn't have one already. Plenty left. I think they are around $90 this year. Glad we stopped in, not sure we'll be back just because it's not geared towards us. read more

This place first off I must say, is definitely a must go to on your bucket list for the holidays! I visited here 2 weeks ago with a bunch of friends and my significant other because we heard they do it all up for the holidays so we decided to go. Inside the big red barn there's a store that sells all Christmas and Hanukkah decorations, decorated trees, music boxes, soaps, you name it, they sell it! I found myself walking around the store for a solid 40 minutes just still looking around lol. Outside they had photo props and you can take pictures outside with Santa! Very cute! They had a big section outdoors that had a big ice skating rink along with an area next to it that had fire pits to roast marshmallows! They also had a little cabin that sells hot cocoa, and desserts! This place was soo worth visiting! read more

Yesterday we had the most magnificent day at Santa's Christmas Tree Farm Li. We met several members of the new family who helped take us around the farm. It was just what we needed to kick off the holiday spirit! They have acres of trees, animals, free pictures with Santa, all social distanced, ice skating, airstream food truck, hot chocolate, and an amazingly stunning Christmas store with entire train village. We bought our annual nutcracker, new tree topper and ornaments. I highly recommend them! The next two Wednesday's they will be having a sensory day for children. read more

Huge Christmas tree farm and holiday decor store in Cutchogue where you can come and cut down your own tree (if you're into that sort of thing). Inside there's a tremendous store selling holiday decor from ornaments to lights and ceramic villages. They don't carry Alpine Village which is what I collect but they have Dickens and New England villages from Dept. 56. The staff was helpful but my only complaint is that prices were quite high. It's open year round so if you're in the area and get in the holiday spirit a little early then this place is great, albeit expensive. Recommended for local shopping. read more

Our family visited the farm and fed the 5 calves a deer and played with chicks . Stacey and Vince were so friendly and accommodating. It was fun and educational. We enjoyed it so much that we went back to check out Santa's Christmas Tree Shop. Another amazing experience. There is so much to look at and holiday gifts for all . Will not be back to purchase a tree ever again. We spent $93+ on a tree which was said to "last until Easter". Needles began falling immediately and we hope it will last until NYE. Thought we would have better selection and fresher cut trees (we were told the tree had been cut 12/13/19 from a farm in Rochester, NY.) Wanted something special after my Dad's passing on 12/7/19. The ice skating rink is synthetic ice and is extremely difficult to skate on. It is nothing like skating on real ice. The cost is non-refundable, which made sense after we tried skating for 5 minutes. It is so slippery it's dangerous. I strongly recommend not trying to skate on this ice. read more

Got our tree here today. While it fits the sizing we needed exactly the tree itself is pretty terrible. Paid about $100 after taxes and there are more needles on our floor already than all season from our pre-cut tree we got last year. Tried this place out since Strawberry Fields closed but not worth it. Only gave it stars due to the shop and Santa. Who was wonderful. Also love that photos are taken by the parents and not roped into packages like some places. Will unlikely be back. read more

I didn't get a chance to see any trees, but went inside the gift shop. The store is huge! There is so much to choose from, from ornaments, decorations and house items. Luckily, they had the village sets I am always looking for, since many don't carry them anymore. I was so happy to see the villages set up! Great folks that cater as much as possible to families. We took our 3 year old boy and 9 month old girl and Santa didn't scare anybody and was the most kind and soft spoken guys ever. He played the part SO well !! There was a great tree selection (you have to get there early to get a good one) and that package includes so much. We all had Xmas trees and candy canes painted on our faces and it was a very happy outing and day. In fact, we left something behind and the store and Manager we SOOO NICE and thoughtful that they FedExd the toy to us !!! We have made this an annual trip and look forward to next years visit! read more
