Ended up paying $800.00 for a new left frt hub, tie rod ends, & 4 whl alignment. two days later I have the grinding noise again, called Eli, he said bring it back in-someone must have stuck me with some cheap brake pads(?) I had new pads put in at another shop & no more grinding noise. Over the next couple of months, the steering gradually started pulling both ways, and around march 1, I noticed extreme wear on the frt tires.Took it back to Eli. He said it was my fault for not bringing it in sooner and I should go to the other shop if I wanted help. So I went to the other shop , bought 4 new tires & alignment{$726.91).They said that it hadn't been aligned correctly-the toe-in was not adjusted, & that would wear all the tires out. I would advise anyone not to go to this shop for anything , you'll definitely regret it.

Called there after hours number and never got a return call until Monday . My daughter took car in Monday and the fixed the issue and completed the job and she was waiting on a ride to pick her car up . Then I finally get a return call telling me to bring car in and let them look at it. I said sir the car is in your shop right now! Phone gets silent....... So I'll let you be the judge if you decide to take your vehicle there! I mean how dangerous could that have been for my daughter if her brakes went out!

The gentleman there listened to the rattle for a second and told me he knew exactly what it was. He reached into the AC slot, pulled out a dead mouse, and told me there was no charge (I paid him anyway). Dealership probably would have said I needed a new compressor and charged me $900. Luckily I found Allan at West Erwin Automotive who removed the computer, opened the thing up, figured out the problem, repaired it and reinstalled it! He then re-primed the pump and now everything works GREAT. Less than $400 total. Alan is the last of a dying breed, a mechanic that can actually fix stuff! Most just swap parts but not Allan. I think he could fix just about anything. The shop lacks the glitz of other shops in town but have no fear these guys KNOW what they are doing.
