I have walked by…read morethis restaurant countless times while visiting Guadalajara and staying at the Hyatt Regency. The front view from the main road looks like greenery and difficult to see it's a restaurant. The best part about that is that is where the outdoor seating is and you feel like you are out of the city in a great cozy spot with loads of ambiance. Service was great, waiters were attentive enough. Food was good, I wouldn't say great. We were a party of four, two adults and two kids. We appreciate they have a few vegetarian options and ordered the cheese enchiladas, three different tacos, chile renello and the queso fundido. Tortillas were plentiful and the salsas were very tasty. The "chips" they gave us when we sat were from a big Tostitos bag and obviously store bought not homemade like most places, this surprised me since the first time I got chips in Mexico that were from a bag...we don't even get these in USA at restaurants (always hot or fresher ones). The stars of our meal were: Arroz y Frijoles (yes, the rice and beans were better than our meals). My sons Enchiladas with verde sauce were all our favorite and had a good flavor. MY favorite of all was my Margarita Tamarindo, the best one I have ever had! If i wasn't so full I would have had 5 more! haha. This restaurant has been around for a LONG time and I can see why, I appreciate the veg options and I will surely be back everytime i'm in GDL. A must try!

The Ceviche Docena was outstanding--fresh, bright, and perfectly balanced, clearly made with top-quality seafood. The biggest surprise of the night, though, was the beef tongue taco. Wow wow wow. Incredibly tender, deeply flavorful, and easily one of the best tacos I've had in a long time. I would fly back just for that taco. We also tried the escamoles taco since we always like to try something new. While it was interesting and I'm glad we experienced it, it's not something I'd order again--but no regrets. OMG! The Iberico!!! Just shut up and get it. Overall, a fantastic meal with great service, beautiful ambiance, and some truly memorable dishes. Don't skip the ceviche--and absolutely do not miss the beef tongue taco.

Fantastic choice! Restaurant was full at lunchtime, although we were seated properly without a reservation. Not outside, but had an outdoor feel. Extensive seafood menu, heavily oriented toward fresh oysters, clams, and other amazing seafood, which was all presented in a fantastic manner and delicious. Anyone that thinks this place was pricey or not a winner must've had a bad experience that would've been out of the ordinary in my opinion. It's not cheap to be sure, but it was not expensive. In my opinion great quality and nice. Nice portions. We had two primary servers who are pictured in this review. Ignacio and Lalo - incredibly friendly and obviously wanted us to enjoy our meal. Made excellent recommendations definitely added to the wonderful late lunch experience. We travel a lot, and this is clearly some of the best seafood/oysters we've had in a long time.

We got there and they had immediately an available table, right after us, the waiting list started. The place is a nice modern style restaurant with just about 20 tables. Our waiter was Gris. She was amazing! Three of us decided to have the capellini with Seared Tuna, my mom went for a fettuccini alfredo, nephew chose the chicken cannelloni, and my nice wanted something diet approved, so she had the chicken (I have to confess I don't remember the name) everything was really good, with the exception of the chicken, that one was lacking a bit of flavor (diet approved right?). And yes, we're one of those families that we taste everyone's food :P This place is right in the heart of the restaurant area at Andares shopping mall, which makes it also a very nice place, where you can also enjoy watching plenty of people walk by and you can also have a nice walk after lunch and just kill some time. If you have people in your party that likes pasta, this is a place to visit!
