When in Toledo try their Marzapan they said - so we did. Tried their classic marzapan and it was nice. For some one with no sweet tooth, this was not very sweet but again nothing mind blowing. They have a variety of chocolate truffles or marzapan varieties here. Good gifting options too. Conveniently located near the main zocodover in Toledo. Clean place for dessert. I passed by here & realized the historic reference to here for Mazapan from 1800's Don't be worry about the kilo per weight. I got a variety of 8 pieces for about 7 Euros ( see my receipt ) Different types different cost per Kilo Not too sweet & Fresh I wish I order more than 8 pieces read more

Marzipan was created here in 1856, I had to go inside & purchase some. The shop was beautiful as the bag & shopping bags. I bought fruit & Pinolii that were delicious. They were expensive each bite was a euro. read more

The Marzipan game is real in Toledo, especially at one of the staples in the city (Santo Tome). I honestly had heard that one of the main attractions to partake in was the Marzipan, but I have had my fair share in other countries, so I was not specifically out on a mission to find them. It was not until I came across Santo Tome and the massive line out the door, which had me wondering what was going on. After glancing through the window and see the large offerings of Marzipan and other various treats, I had to give it a go! As for the inside of the establishment, it is not the largest, so expect a grab and go scenario. One tip is to have a general idea what you want as the line moves fast and the staff is expecting to get you in and out, but that is not to say that they are not friendly. I ended up getting a variety pack of Marzipan, and why I cannot express how delicious it was, I will say it was well worth the more expensive tourist pricing! They have some to go boxes if you plan on bring them back to your home country, which is quite nice, but there would be no way I could hold onto them without devouring them before they make it back home. Well worth a stop if you are visiting the beautiful city of Toledo! read more

Marizpan is a must try when you're in Toledo, and this has great ones. I'm not a huge fan of marzipan in general myself, but I could actually tolerate these ones, so they must be good. I found the nutty ones to be better than the traditional fruit shaped ones (filled with a sweet filling that I think is just too much for me). Would definitely give this a try! read more

Well I can say that my students and partially me are not huge fans of marzipan but this place is very cute and has other confectioneries too try. I stopped by while on a walking tour of Toledo and the guide highly recommended this place. Can be a bit pricey but you can tell everything is made to perfection. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would come back here to sit and have some sweets and a coffee. Loved the look of the place. Stop by if in Toledo. read more
