Well, originally I looked but couldn't find it... but alas, the day has come that I can tell the world about this FREAKING AMAZING RESTAURANT!!! The last time I ate this food I cried, because I was so sad I was leaving it and the incredible staff that have always been so patient with our big groups, and small groups. John is an awesome guy, he has waited on us several times and has always been so patient. I say patient because... this restaurant is BYOB and we'd (meaning my friends, usually about 8-10 of us) bring massive amounts of boxed wine and get shlammered while we enjoyed the most amazing Thai food ever. I believe I actually fell asleep here once. But John never cared, he was always SO FRIENDLY and he even offered to hold our to-go boxes and wine for us to pick up the next day because we'd walk straight to the club after dinner. *sweet little memory side note* I even remember I was going home in three days and I went to Coconut Thai to pick up a to-go order. When I arrived John said it would be on him, because my friends and I always had such an awesome time here. And yes, I cried in the restaurant because it was so sweet. And then I came back the next day and the next, because it was so good. OK I'LL STOP! The food is damn good. I've had a lot of things here. The lard na noodles are fantastic, the green curry, panang curry, pineapple fried rice, and laksa are all amazing. But be warned, when there is one little red pepper (out of 3) next to a menu item, the dish is very very spicy. I couldn't even eat it because I was too much of a baby. The desserts are also quite good too. And I've tried Basil Thai before and it's cheaper but I don't think it's anything compared to Coconut Thai (and it's bathroom is far away). This place gives you a LOT of food at a very reasonable price. I miss it SO MUCH so all you Wollongong-ers better get your butts over there, and say hi to John for me.

Whenever I go scuba diving at Bass Point, I'll try to make a trip to Shellharbour for some fish and chips and being a popular tourist beachside destination, there's plenty of fish and chips shops to choose from along that street. This is my favorite as the food is consistently good and the price is good too. There's also the option for dining in where you can get your fish and chips served on a plate and enjoy it using a knife and fork. However I much prefer having my food to go and then heading down to the beach and finding a nice comfy spot on the grass to enjoy the meal. Great way to finish off a diving trip down the south coast! Highly recommend It!

The seagulls are annoying as they do come near you if the food is not surrounded by people. Otherwise they are just there, watching... There are two sections - cold seafood and the fried seafood. You get to choose how you want your fish to be done - battered, crumbed or grilled. Besides chips, there are also some salad sides that can be ordered. I had the crumbed fish (almost like the Japanese panko coating which did not overwhelm the fish) which was freshly fried and good. My friend had the grilled barramundi which was equally good and fresh. We also had the salt and pepper squid (calamari) with chips which were so-so as it was salty to me. From the cold seafood section, we bought 1/2KG of cooked prawns which were huge and sweet. A bit too salty at times as they were pre-seasoned with salt. What's with all the salt in Australia? The raw oysters (pre-shucked and shrink-wrapped in a tray) were gorgeously delicious. Super fresh with no fishy smell or taste to it. And the price was good too. About $11 for a dozen regular size rock oysters. How could you say no to that? Most people order the food for take away but you can dine outside on the patio. Just remember to clean up after yourself so that the seagulls do not get to the waste. The bins are right there. Bring your own sauces if you do not wish to purchase there. Also your wet wipes to clean your hands. There are no washroom on the premise but there is one at the end of the parking lot where the sailing club building is. Parking is easy. Just relax and enjoy the food and view while you dine on fresh seafood. This is definitely a go-to place if you are in the Gong area.

We came to littlefork after a trip from the South Coast and there were about 15 of us. The cafe was completely quiet, and here rocks up a group of 15, all ordering breakfast / brunch and coffee. I ordered the chicken burger, which had a large chicken breast which was generously coated in batter and deliciously crispy. My fiance ordered the beef sandwich which looked delicious. I wanted to comment about how great the staff members were with our big group. The food came out staggered as we all ordered separately, but the staff members were lovely and cheerful and so kind. I thought this little cafe wasn't going to be able to handle the rush as many more customers came in after us, but they were able to serve us quickly and with a smile. Next time I am in Berry, I will definitely come back to littlefork.
