Breakfast was excellent, and location was perfect for exploring Haarlem although it would not have mattered if I was a little off the Markt. The bad: The room is in the back with windows looking into a brick wall. Ear plugs are provided because anytime a door is opened or closed elsewhere in the BnB a huge noise is made. The restaurant is closed at night on Monday and Tuesday and we had to find a different restaurant for check in.

Renè, the half Czech half Dutch waiter was willing to ask the guests if they would mind moving but we stopped him. The food was delicious, he prepared three courses of different dishes, was insanely kind, knowledgeable and attentive. When all guests left, he let us stay almost 30 minutes longer so we could enjoy the desserts. It is not a fancy place but if you appreciate authentic place and delicious food, you'll have a nice experience!
