I pretty much just wanna say that Lucille's famous fried chicken should be reviewed as an item they want to carry. What an insipid meal this was!! the chicken is dry, has no flavor at all, and the seasoning was nowhere to be found. Please review this product. It was disgusting and very expensive. Sapp Bros Travel Center totally lives up to the hype--yes, the bathrooms are that clean. I'm talking cleaner-than-most-homes clean, and each stall has a locking door like a mini private suite. A highway oasis if you've been living off gas station snacks and bad coffee. Their iconic teapot water tower out front is a quirky touch that makes this place easy to remember, and the convenience store has way more than just the basics. Order a supreme pizza. Closest thing to homemade I've had in years. All the toppings are smothered in cheese and then topped off with pepperoni. I had the fried chicken at another Sapp Brothers. It was yummy. Prices are high. Even for a truckstop. They do have an app to help save money on clothes and accessories. I couldn't get it to download. Overall it's a great stop. Been coming here for years. Don't forget to try a roasted pork stick wrapped in bacon. read more

I don't normally Yelp about gas stations, but if I can tell you that they didn't lie about mother approved bathrooms. This is the best bathroom I have ever been to in a gas station. So if you are ever on a road trip and you see this gas station. I highly recommend you stop. They also have a great selection of items to buy and food to eat. The only warning is, if you buy the chicken, make sure it is fresh. My friend bought some chicken and fries and they tasted like they had been there for days, but everything else was good. Good size truck stop with certified scales, diesel, regular gas and a restaurant. We stopped in the daylight for fuel and a bathroom stop. The bathrooms here are awesome! Each stall had their own sinks, paper towels and bidets! Fancy and clean bathrooms for a truck stop! We felt safe and got in and out pretty quick, right off the interstate. read more

This is the best damn gas station bathroom in the USA lmao I walked around the corner into the bathroom and literally gasped and said "what country am I in?" When I discovered these amazing private bathroom stalls with their own sinks AND FREAKING BIDETS WITH HEATED SEATS LIKE WTF WHERE AM I THIS IS AWESOME! Bonus points for them posting a sign on how to use it, for them picking ones with heated seats (my god yesss) and having decent settings. Also wow they also sell the bidets! Never change. read more

Writing all these reviews can really Sapp my strength, but I'm doing it anyway. Some truck stops can really sap your strength but this one does not. It's an excellent truck stop with nice Diner and fairly cheap gas, brand new pumps, shiny and glowing red neon in the night... So I really like it and it's a very safe place to sleep as well - and I've never seen any unsavory characters in the parking lot, so I have nothing bad to say about it whatsoever. The diner here isn't even a Denny's but actually a locally owned diner. Good show! Speaking of good shows (Pulls Down Pants). read more

This was our first stop this morning before heading back into Nebraska. They have a nice paved parking area for semi's.and looked quite busy with the fuel island packed with trucks and more waiting. There's a Pilot Travel Plaza next door that we have a rewards card for, we just wanted to try something different. Upon entering the place looked huge and there were stairs that the employees would go up and down (probably the office area.) There were mannequins inside modeling leather jackets, blanket hoodies and other clothing. Purses, toys, collective dolls, dream catchers, appliances, comical salt and pepper shakers...so much to buy. It looked like there was more merchandise than food, but they also have a restaurant. We also saw cold foods in a cooler and there's a hotbox by the front register. We was looking for a shot glass that we collect from state to state..looks like it was the only thing they didn't have. I'm kind of shocked because they did have magnets and keychains. Ross about gave me a heart attack with a lemon candy box, I liked the box and almost bought it, till I got scared then I just moved on. The restrooms were fancy with big heavy wooden doors on each stall. They also had a family restroom. Each toilet had a bidet (that they also sell) so I had to stay longer to play with the buttons. It cleaned the back and front and also had massage and dryer buttons and even heats the seat! We don't see these in any of the other truck stops. Ross was out in the store waiting for me, he knew exactly what I was doing lol We got a dozen chicken strips from the hotbox and checked out as the cashier was wiping the counter. The service from the cashier was superb, she offered their reward card, but usually aren't around a Sapp Bros. to use it so we declined the offer. This store is very clean, organized and I would highly recommend it to anyone. read more

Our family stops here every time we visit NE. The restrooms are the best. They are always clean and have fancy heated toilet seats! They have a massive family bathroom with a tiny toilet that is perfect for those little travelers. There is a great selection of snacks and the coffee is pretty good too. Our stop at Sapp Brothers was nothing short of amazing. Although they posted staff shortages, you'd have never known by the care each customer received. Our breakfast at the Apple Barrel was hot, fresh and plentiful. The coffee alone is worth the stop. The retail space and restrooms are pristine. On my way to Denver, we stopped here for gas. Although I really didn't have to use the restroom, my daughter insisted that I check it out. Wow! Honestly, never reviewed a truck stop before, but this is no ordinary truck stop. We were passing through on a cross country road trip with a time crunch when we decided to stop for gas. I figured it's best to use the bathroom since I wasn't sure when I'd see another one due to time crunch. I had a seat, and to my surprise, it was warm. And not the kind of warm when you sit on the toilet after someone else set up shop... but the kind that makes you write a Yelp review and warms your soul on a cold winter evening. I can't tell you how much I wish I had to poop to use the bidet to it's full potential. The rest of the truck stop had all the necessities you can think of, including dried fruit and snacks , fresh coffee, a plethora of cheese options and trending TikTok leggings that make your booty look juicy. The staff was super nice and everyone was wearing their masks and cleaning when they weren't helping someone. This place was truly a magical truck stop and we'll probably be stopping here again if we're in the area. Thank you Sapp bros. I love you. read more

as of about the end of August 2019 they successfully reopened the building did not have to get torn down.. they did got the whole thing inside and out but it is reopened again.. which is a nice thing that much you could do though in an area that's prone to flooding very very often but at least they were able to not have to tear the whole facility down just redo the insides and they're back in business again.. read more

I used to like this truck stop until someone thought it was a good idea to change the toilet seats to Bidet ones. Did you buy child seats! Had to use the handicap stall for a normal one. Stop shopping on Wish and send these Chinese toilet seats back! read more

Do you suffer from Paruresis better known as "shy bladder syndrome"? If so, than road trips can be your worst nightmare. If only there were more Sapp Bros gas station pit stops along your route, your mind would be set at ease! Four state-of-the-art private woman's bathrooms that had toilets with more built-in technology than my 2012 Honda Civic including heated seats and bidet features (all of which I was too chicken to test out). If the bathrooms weren't enough, they also had a customized milkshake machine that could whip you up a fresh swirl in 60 seconds. It was called f'real Milkshakes. Again with the technology...NASA must own a stake in this pit stop. His and hers leather motorcycle vests, aisles of car fix it stuff, twin bed mattresses, and various other goodies were on retail though we had to get on our way. This road trip has had a serious dearth of pit stops in general so Sapp Bros is really a beacon in the night. I could've knocked off a star 'cause they didn't have my road trip staple Smartfood White Cheddar popcorn but they're just too good to fault them, and they did have other options. Very clean store, very helpful employees, and a very large truck stop where you can pull in and just relax en route to your next destination. There aren't too many truck stops on the route to Council Bluffs/Omaha, so this is certainly a convenient place to set your GPS to in the event that you want to stop for an hour and just stretch the legs. The venue itself is quite large and has an array of products to choose from. I was appreciative of the fact in seeing local homemade products in small stands by the cashier area. Altogether, a pretty good place to stop for the traveler. read more

Finding this place along our route was like hitting the jackpot! My partner and I had been traveling for a few hours on our journey across the US when we really had to use the bathroom, refuel, and eat. This place had everything we needed and more! Fun fact: the toilets are equipped with bidets, heated seats, and butt massages. This is NOT your typical gas station bathroom. There's a Caribou Coffee stand onsite as well as a restaurant called Apple Barrel. I didn't eat at the restaurant, but I did get a small salad from the gas station and it was fresh. The ranch dressing it came with tasted homemade. They even sell touristy items and t-shirts for pretty cheap. I almost bought an Iowa t-shirt as a souvenir, but the only size they had on display was a large. Oh well. I'm sure they will restock soon. When you're in a really rural area like this, you're not likely to find a decent stop to stretch your legs, but this is amazing especially considering the area it's in. read more

I end up here at least once every two weeks on my way to and from MO. The store is always very clean, the employees friendly and they have a great variety of travel needs from food to auto emergency supplies. The bathrooms are always clean and each stall has it's own sink so no sink congestion, you can get in and out. Little known, there are also hot showers upstairs and more bathrooms. Traveling with kids? This place also has some great things to keep them occupied as well. read more

The store is newer, went to the restaurant and got a beef soup and a chefs salad. Food was just decent maybe something else would have been tastier but I was looking to eat healthy , they use iceberg lettuce which I never eat bc of how little nutrition it has. I could imagine a bidet in a home perhaps, but it seems to me, that it would be very unsanitary in a public restroom. Yet, Sapp Brothers bragged about their bidet toilets. (A bidet (US/bde/ or UK /bide/) is a plumbing fixture or type of sink intended for washing the genitalia, perineum, inner buttocks, and anus of the human body, and is typically installed in a bathroom. Lower-cost add-ons combining a toilet seat and "electronic bidet" are becoming increasingly popular as well.) They do have a cleaning person for the restrooms, but I got the impression, that a bidet does not always make for a pleasant cleaning experience. Sapp's has lots of tourist stuff, many items from India. Very overpriced. While they have a fried food deli, staff are slow to serve and never enough help to move customers along in a timely fashion. Expecting to grab a quick bite for the road is not always possible. "Apple Barrel" restaurant is okay, nothing special & should never be confused with "Cracker Barrel". read more
