Sarah went over a above the call of duty to make my older, anxiety ridden, dog comfortable. My dog has separation Anxiety so being alone for her is very stressful, not only for Lucy, but also for me. Sarah kept Lucy in her bedroom at bedtime, and even took her to an outdoor event so she would not be alone. I have picture of Lucy on a picnic blanket looking very happy. I new every minute I was away that my dog was being cared for as if I were doing the caring. Now really, who could ever ask for more than that? Matt took my dog on a walk and brought him back with a compound fracture in his leg. He could provide no explanation for what happened, aside from blaming the dog as being weak. He offered no apology or advice for the situation, simply insulting our dog as he gave it back. As a result of Matt's incompetence, our dog had to be put down and Matt will no longer answer our phone calls. Avoid Matt at all costs. Sarah's Pet Care is excellent. We use them all the time for little trips as well as longer vacations. They are extremely easy to schedule with and have always been available when we need them. They're also very flexible and accommodating if we need to add or subtract a day from our trip, or cancel it all together. Beyond that, they don't mind our high-maintenance cats and are able to improvise when the mischievous one gets into hot water. Our cats seem to rally like them too, which is great. One of our cats doesn't seem to like most guys for some reason but she's fine with the guy who works for Sarah's; he texted a picture of her letting him pet her, which really put our minds at ease. (And we love that they'll text notes and pictures now and then while we're away.) Whenever we get home from a trip our cats seem perfectly happy and normal. I recently signed up my very energetic and active one year old lab/shepard mix puppy for the off leash dog park group outings and I am so happy that I did! My dog absolutely loves going and is tired and happy when I come home - what more can you ask for? Matt has been great with my dog. You can tell he is a very experienced dog handler as he had no issues with our dog (unlike others who have been overwhelmed with his energetic personality). I always feel better on the days he gets picked up by Matt knowing that my pup will have a good day. Sarah (on the billing and scheduling side of the business) has been very responsive and quick to add or cancel any services I want and has been very friendly. We have been using Sarah's Pet Care for 2-3 years now. They exercise our two HUGE dogs twice a week, and also have done vacation care for both our dogs and our two elderly cats. They are excellent at scheduling and communication, and modifying your pet's visits/routine to your individual pet's needs. Two of our pets require medication twice a day, and that has never been an issue for Sarah's team either. Unfailingly nice, fun, reliable, and great quality. Sarah (owner) will also reach out to the pet owners personally to ensure everything is up to satisfaction. We've been customers of Sarah's for 3 years now. First, our single dog with Epilepsy was diligently cared for when we went on vacations by the Sarah's team and now our crew of 4 crazy dogs is walked and doggie-sat by Sarah's amazing team. We have 2 rescue pups and 2 Foster dogs that we keep until they are adopted. We've had several dog walkers but Pam is our most regular person. She's amazing and diligent and the dogs love her. Sarah's Pet Care is the best! We have two golden retrievers and a tabby cat. Sarah and Matt go the extra mile to provide the best customer service possible. We use the pet sitting services when we go out of town on vacation and we are able to fully relax knowing that our furry loved ones are properly cared for. Long trips or short get-aways Sarah and her team have been able to accommodate our needs. We have used several of the preferred kennels in the greater Seattle area but we have found that Sarah's Pet Care is more cost effective and safer while our animals receive more individual attention and care. Thanks to Sarah's Pet Care, I have stopped worrying about leaving my 1.5 year old female Ridgeback alone while at work! Prior to relocating to the Seattle area in July, Lia, my Ridgeback was used to me working from home 5 days a week so when we arrived in Seattle and was told I had to go to work every day, I knew it was going to be a drastic change in Lia's life. Not only did she need to get used to a new house and environment but also staying on her own from 8am till 5pm. Finding a dog walker for daily lunchtime walks became the top priority. SPC came recommended to us by a colleague and we met Natalie who was going to be Lia's daily dog walker. Straight away I noticed that Natalie had experience working with dogs in her way of interacting with Lia. I felt very confident that SPC were right for us. As Lia was not used to being off leash nor being walked with other dogs, I wanted Natalie to do private walks and after a couple of weeks Natalie asked if she could take Lia on a group walk with another dog as she felt that Lia was ready to meet other dogs, this was the beginning of a new era for us. From there on, Natalie increased the frequency and lengths of off leash park trips in a group so much so that Lia now goes every day to the dog park and fully enjoys her time playing with other dogs! Natalie has now moved on from SPC and we have now Emily looking after Lia, once again another fantastic experience. Emily has been sharing videos and pictures of Lia at the park, it's so nice to see what our dog is doing when we are not there! As for Sarah, the founder of SPC, she is AMAZING! She is flexible, always available to talk about an issue / change of plan and has been going the extra mile to help with a major anxiety phase that Lia was going through.
