She gave clear, insightful ideas and sent me away with things to research In 2018 I looked for a trust attorney and wanted to work with Hannah. She was too busy to take my case, but she quickly reviewed some paperwork on a weekend, answered a few questions, and saved me from sleepless nights. 6/17 update: Appreciate the attorney office's half hearted attempt to respond to this review 1.5 months after it initially posted. To confirm, the company never tried to contact me directly again. I guess their "hook" is to offer this "free" consultation where after you wait a month and invest the time to meet with an attorney, that's when they start telling you the prices. I was asking for a very basic and specific Trust to be done. This was not a complicated task. Instead of trying to half heartedly respond to my review on Yelp, how about just be upfront and transparent with your rates for basic, standard turnkey services? Saying your rates are $400/hour doesn't mean anything to folks like me. Just a thought. There were several other credible Bay Area attorney offices I called who provided upfront pricing over the phone without playing what appears to be in my opinion, the classic "used car salesman" game that feels like a bait-and-switch. I still maintain my two stars for my interaction with this company. -- Please note I have not used their services...this was based on a phone call inquiry exchange. I called to inquire more information on getting a basic trust made and what a price is. The lady on the phone would not provide a range, but stated the fee is $400/hr and the soonest we can meet with the lawyer for a "one time free consultation" is at least one month from now....but she can try squeezing us in with another one of her lawyers. read more

Hannah is a miracle worker. My family had a piece of property in Hayward that was still in my dad's name, though he passed over a decade ago due to a name change and other issues. My mother had tried numerous times, aided by numerous people, to transfer the property into her name and failed. I had 2 appointments scheduled for today. One at 10 for my fiancés mom and one at 2 for my parents. I decided to go with this law office because of all the great reviews. We went to our first appointment with high hopes. None of us are familiar with how trusts work and knew our first step was to get a lawyers assistance. Well, this was not the lawyer for us. She made it clear with in the first few seconds that she was not interested in our business. My mother in law doesn't speak English and while I understand how this could be an issue Hannah made it clear that we were not welcomed there. Her tone and body language was rude and stand offish. While we didn't go in there to become best friends with her we did go in there hoping to be treated with some kind of dignity. Needless to say we did cancel our second appointment and will be taking our business to a lawyer who truly wants to help. We couldn't ask for more in terms of service, advice, cost, and flexibility. We had a trust and other documents that were 14 years old. Of course, things had changed dramatically for our family, including grandchildren. And, we honestly didn't understand our dated documents. We found Hannah through Yelp. She was highly rated. And, her military service, education, and community service sealed the deal in terms of contacting her. We scheduled our free consultation and brought with us all of our documents. We spent well over an hour with Hannah where we discussed our concerns, asked a lot of questions, and received answers that we could actually understand. At the conclusion of the session, we felt very comfortable that Hannah was the right lawyer to help us update our documents. We learned about how the laws had changed and Hannah reviewed all of our documents and also advised us on which assets should be included in the trust. She provided us with several alternatives for achieving our goals. She then committed to a timeframe when the updated documents would be ready for review. We had several email exchanges during the course of her updating the documents. And, once she delivered draft documents to us, we changed our minds in several areas and we provided Hannah with our requested changes. We fully expected her to request additional monies and made that offer, but she declined to increase the bill. Once the final documents were completed, we met in her office with her notary and signed all of the documents. And, she was patient in answering a few more last minute questions/clarifications.
