When my son became sensitive to the sun, I asked Valerie for help. Imagine sun sensitivity. It is not something like an allergy to strawberries, milk or some other food which you can avoid. With sun sensitivity, you need to protect yourself from the sun all the time. If you like hiking or swimming, or simply enjoy being outside, you have a problem. Unlike other types of allergies, sun allergy is not well known to modern medicine, but I believed that homeopathy was the only way out. So I asked Valerie for help. She'd helped us before, so I knew she was a very skilled and competent homeopath. Her knowledge is extensive and she is constantly learning. She feels for people and cares for them. And she'd helped. All big red spots vanished. It is impossible to express how grateful we!

The medicines that my medical doctor gave me left me feeling worse; my heart would start palpitating and my face would sting. Homeopathy was a refreshing alternative! The bonus was that Homeopathy also helped me with the stomach problems that I had had for over 11 years. I had a gluten and milk intolerance and after working with Valerie for a year, it was gone! I could finally eat whatever I wanted and not worry about tummy and intestinal issues! This has changed my life immensely and has allowed me to travel more easily. Since starting to use Homeopathy, I have hardly had to go to my doctor. I have been healthier overall. I highly recommend giving Valerie and Homeopathy a try!

She takes every single question, symptom and concern very seriously and doesn't stop until she finds an answer with you. I was completely disheartened by the medical system until DR B was referred to me. Forever grateful for her!

In only one visit and one follow-up appointment, which she came into the office on Christmas Eve to give (!!), Dr. Bobovski resolved an allergy/immune issue that four doctors, two allergists and a dermatologist couldn't, over the course of 18 months and several dangerous prescriptions/injections, couldn't. A food allergy test! who'da thunk it? My insurance covered the appointment and blood work, and although I did pay out of pocket for the food allergy panel ($85) and for the vitamins I purchased, I'd take that cash payment anyday over a life of free but questionably safe and clearly ineffective prescriptions that covered up my symptoms but didn't help the problem whatsoever, or teach me anything about my body. If I hadn't taken the "radical" plunge into naturopathy (the quotes are a JOKE), I would have taken steroid injections for goodness knows how long, and never learned about my semi serious food allergies that 23 years of cluelessness turned into an eventual allergy and weakened immune system. Two years after seeing her for the first time, I have never had another allergic reaction, and my gut has re-built itself after 23 years of abuse (poor gut!). Dr. Bobovski has respect for her patients and their sense of their own body. She's open about the benefits and limitations about naturopathy. I've never felt uncomfortable for a second in the waiting area (which has great magazines, btw) or naked in a gown on her table. I have never for a second felt rushed into or out of her office -- the level of focus and devotion to each and every issue or question you have is unreal for a doctor at a busy office. Dr. Bobovski and this lovely facility not only fixed the problem I went there for, but helped me to learn about my body from my body, and utterly rejuvenated my faith in medicine and doctors. I could not offer a higher recommendation for this doctor or the facility! And although I haven't personally seen any of her fellow doctors, I've heard good things.

I genuinely feel like she wants me to be living my best life and can give me practical ways to get there. I struggle with anxiety and depression and after we tried a few medication strategies, she referred me to a psychiatrist. I really appreciated that she was willing to try a few things on me, but wasn't too proud to refer me to a specialist once things weren't working as planned. I have also had a few anxiety-related symptoms and felt like she handled them delicately and in a way that could help relieve this anxiety. I also really like the online portal. When something small comes up that I am concerned about, I am always able to get a quick answer- whether it's advice, prescriptions, or a visit scheduled. I also like being able to see our appointment notes easily. I definitely feel like she is my advocate. If something makes me uncomfortable or anxious she always has another suggestion or a way to make things better. With my physical exams, I feel really at ease. She is gentle and continues to check in with me and provide me with information. I like how she provides suggestions as we go and lets me know areas that I am healthy and areas to watch. I feel like we never miss anything and that I can be very honest with her about my physical and mental health.

My current provider is also good - takes time to hear my problems and makes sure to explain things thoroughly with me. I'm very greatly that my current provider helped identify the root causes of something I've struggled with for years. The front desk staff are also friendly. Only thing is that often times I need to wait at least 10-15min past my scheduled appointment time before I can be seen.

At my most recent visit, I paid my $50 copay for an insurance-covered, in-network appointment. The visit itself was fine. Labs and a ultrasound were ordered, and we discussed a plan. However, when I went to check out, I was told that I am now required to either enroll in a mandatory "wellness program" for $29/month or pay an additional $50 per visit on top of my copay because insurance "doesn't pay the clinic enough anymore." I was told that if I declined, I would no longer be allowed to see my provider or receive care at the clinic. I declined the wellness program and left feeling blindsided and abandoned, especially while waiting on important test results. After I contacted Blue Cross Blue Shield to file a complaint and ask weather this was appropriate for in-network care, the clinic later contacted me and informed me that I was being released as a patient. Prior to that, my emails expressing concern went unanswered, and a prescription refill request submitted over two weeks earlier remained unprocessed. The only communication I received was my lab order. During the phone call informing me of my release, I requested my medical records and clarification about my prescriptions. I was told my "tone" would not be tolerated, interrupted mid-sentence, and then placed on hold indefinitely. I was not yelling or being rude, I was advocating for my health. Ending care under these circumstances, while prescriptions and results were pending and concerns were unresolved, was deeply distressing. I would strongly caution prospective patients to ask very clear questions upfront about mandatory fees, insurance-covered care, and continuity if issues arise.
