The first meeting should be your interview with your care provider and see if it is a good fit. Customer service is very very poor with their staff. All they do is read a script. I feel this place misrepresents itself in a manipulative way to lure lonely people who want to be part of something. Beware. They try to suck you into spending money at this place. People are lonely these days, and they manipulate a person into spending money to feel loved and cared. It's a business. BEWARE. An ND has no power to order real medical tests as I also found out from a medical testing center staff stating I need a MD to put in an order. THEY CANNOT ACCEPT THEIR ORDER from an ND. My results came back, and I am super high in "iron". I came back for my second appointment today, one month later after receiving the blood draw to look at my results. She agreed high in iron. She told me to go get checked a second time after doing blood draws and stopping iron supplements. My mother is a hemochromotosis, if you do not get blood drawn, or this figured out - it is the reason of your death most likely with this genetic disease. I asked Naturomedica if they could look over my results a second time since I have already spent $600 with them, if they could just look it over for 5 minutes and give me a thumbs up, or a thumbs down... to tell me looks good after the blood draw, or tell me you need to come back in and we need to figure this out. They said they cannot do that, and it would cost ANOTHER $119 for a 15 minute phone call... I talked to Callie Juetten over the phone. She was harsh, rude, and extremely condoscending about the idea of having a 5 minute phone call or even an email to say you look good, or please come back in. Back in 2012, I'd found success on a low-carb weight loss program and managed to drop 60 of the 125 lbs I needed to lose. But when things slowed down, and the standard instructions I was following stopped working, Dr. Trina helped me identify root causes and address them directly. With her help I managed to lose the rest of my weight (125 lbs in total), and gained important knowledge to understand my own body in ways that have helped me ever since. My situation was complex. However she drilled down much deeper than any other provider I'd worked with into PCOS and Metabolic syndrome.
