When I go in for a massage I don't expect to lay there and be lightly petted for an hour, I want them to get in and work on my muscles even if it causes discomfort at the time ultimately when you walk out you are fixed. Summer is great and really knows her craft, while this place isn't fancy it is far from creepy as others have called it. I highly recommend!

When I asked why, I was told that I was not "the right fit" and that my name was on the "list". With further questioning, I determined that this was some sort of in-house collusion among the therapists, because I had complained at my last appointment. Apparently you better just keep your mouth shut and not ask the therapist to make adjustments, or you risk being sent home!

It is obvious that this area has been well planned instead of being an after thought, like so many other massage studios. Even though the studio is small, the waiting area gives it a spa-like feel and prepares you for relaxation. The massages are done in individual rooms that are decorated like a typical massage studio. The music selection is nice, and I love the various oils and scents used for my massage. I appreciate the climate isn't too cold, which has happened to me more times than not when visiting other studios. I always feel comfortable and safe at Beyond Massage. The prices are what makes Beyond Massage such a great place. No need to search for massage deals though discount sites and risk having a bad experience. The hallway is lit up on the left with pretty rocks and light. It sets the scene. The bathroom is cute and decorated nicely. Our massage room has our two tables and it was decorated nice too. The massage beds are warmed, so it's nice and toasty when you get it. You can be totally naked or wear whatever you're comfortable with. The massage was amazing and the pressure was perfect. Definitely better than the last massage I got. My only complaint is the loud ticking clock on the wall. The music was comforting and relaxing, but the clock is so loud. They should invest in one that is quiet. Well update- the night I went home my left knee started to hurt and it's been hurting ever since. I know my massage therapist massages my knees and I'm not sure what happened. I hope my knee gets better soon.

The only con I have is that my masseuse was wearing earbuds during the massage, and I could hear her whole playlist the whole hour. My husband heard it all the way to the other side of the room too, so it was pretty loud which kind of takes away from that zen feeling. But that's really the only con. Everything else was really good and we are already looking into booking our next massage!
