I live in BC and regularly travel to Saskatoon. Just before my trip, my crown fell off. Despite my search, I couldn't find a dentist in Vernon, BC, to fix it. My daughter recommended River Landing Dental Clinic, and they accommodated my emergency right away. The entire team was friendly and professional, and Dr. Mahmoud Soliman went above and beyond. During my initial examination, Dr. Soliman determined that my crown required more extensive treatment, including a root canal. He considered my tight schedule, lack of insurance, and the health of my teeth. On my first visit, Dr. Soliman spent over two hours cleaning the exposed cavity and treating the nerve, fitting me in the next business day for further treatment. Dr. Soliman explained everything in detail, showing me X-rays and before-and-after images. He even called later that day to check on me and promptly sent a prescription when I needed it. On my second visit, he rebuilt the base of my tooth to protect the nerve and prepare for the root canal. I was so impressed that I plan to return to Saskatoon for my treatments with Dr. Soliman and his team. The entire team at River Landing Dental Clinic clearly enjoys working together, creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in their state-of-the-art clinic. I saw a dentist at Wheatland dental a couple times. My second appointment was 2 weeks after my…read morefirst appointment. I didn't know why they made me the appointment but I got an email reminding me about this appointment. So I went and I waited for about an hour before I got seen. All the dentist did was look in my mouth and said ok we will book you in for another check up so I told the lady that l will phone in to book one which I haven't done because i was disappointed that they waisted my valuable time just to look in my mouth after just seeing me 2 weeks before anyway they booked me an appointment without asking if I was even available and didn't notify me of the appointment. So of course it was a no show then they booked me another appointment without having any contact with me so it was another no-show then again they booked another appointment for me . So now I've missed multiple appointments that I didn't even know I had. Now they are billing me $61.00 and won't booked another appointment for me until I pay the fee.

I wasn't someone who…read morewould say that I was afraid of the Dentist but for some reason I never seemed to get around to making an appointment until it was way too late and the problems were major. The worst was an infection on a tooth that needed a root canal, anti-biotics brought the infection underway but the swelling prevented the freezing from taking, Holly pretty much did the pulpectomy with no freezing and I didn't shed a tear, this had to be done to release the pressure from the infection, once the infection had completely cleared the rood canal was completed and a crown installed and it's been great ever since. Also to be able to say my kids enjoy going to the dentist is another testament in itself.
