won't be going here again. I have gone to sasquatch many times and had never had any issues until today. I had an employee that I hadnt seen before ask for my ID. I gave him my ID and he proceeded to tell me my ID was fake and even tho I told him to scan it and it came up valid and that I am of age, he still wouldn't sell it to Me. He told me the reason is because I had my physical address and P.O. Box on my ID. ive had the same ID since I was 16 and I'm not sure if things are different these days but I've never had an issue with the address on my ID at any other place. To top it off, the employee also slammed the window in my face. I wasn't being rude, I simply asked why he was accusing of my ID of being fake. I go to this business every now and again, for beer and cig's, but never noticed if I was charged an Oregon Bottle fee on the beer. The other day I went to get beer and wanted to return my empty cans, a 30 pack of the same brand I always buy. But I was told they do not take returns. WHAT!??? While the staff is friendly and helpful, and price is fair, they do tend to be slow. So if they are busy, be ready to wait. My bottom line is, if they wont take back the returns on what I buy, I aint buying any more. read more

We were in the market for a new water bong so we stopped in this cute beehive-themed smoke shop and were pleasantly surprised by their great selection of pipes and glassware. The super sweet and peppy owner helped us choose two beautiful pieces and she hooked us up with a couple rolling trays and some palm leaf wraps. We left very satisfied and saved quite a bit of money since the owner gave us a really good deal on the items we purchased. They have a stamp card program as well, I believe it's something like every $20 you spend you get $10 worth of merchandise from the store (excluding tobacco and alcohol, but that's fine because this store has a ton of awesome merchandise to choose from). I'll definitely be stopping by this store again as I frequently travel from WA to OR and pass through the Dalles. read more

I recently went into Sasquatch (Jan 20) to buy a couple vape products. I decided to try something new instead of the usual. I purchased two 'DaShyt' rechargeable vapes for $30. Before I left the store, I tried both vapes, and one was already not working. We swapped the non-working one before I left. By the end of the evening, both vapes had stopped working and weren't recharging. The next morning I woke up with a cough and my lungs felt 'heavy'. I researched the brand of these vapes and discovered that the only way to buy these vapes is through a Chinese merchandiser called dhgate.com for $4 a piece. I called Sasquatch about my concerns and faulty vapes and their only response was 'I'm sorry, that's unfortunate". It is extremely dangerous to smoke knock-off vape products and I'm livid at the sheer lack of concern this store has for their faulty products and the safety of those products. You should research what you're buying from this store before you buy. They clearly care more about profit than your safety.
