I went into the salon a few days earlier asked the stylist if she could do my hair color I showed her a picture of what I wanted a color I previously had. She said that she could do it. I asked her if she was absolutely sure she said yes I made an appointment I came back. I went to salon got there at 1 o'clock. She did not take me until 130. I showed her a photo again of me with the hair color I wanted and asked again if she could do it. she said yes. I sat in the chair for over five hours when she started to dry my hair, I told her that it was not what I asked for, she asked Another stylist to help she started adding all kinds of bright red shades. I asked for a little trim and not to take a lot I showed her how much. she took over 2" off my hair. I was so devastated what my hair looked like I was speechless. I walked out of the salon looking like Ronald McDonald. I went back to the salon because I was embarrassed how bad my hair looked like I spoke to the owners daughter she was very nice and said would I let them do something and would refund my money, but she needed to talk to the stylist. I then got a phone call from the owner, who was absolutely nasty and said that my color was beautiful I said it was not what I asked for and that everybody else that saw the color laughed at me. my friend who recommended the salon said sorry for recommending them. the owner got very nasty to me and said that she would not refund my money. the owner also said she hade me on video saying that I liked it. I told her I did not say that I was distraught about what the women did to my hair with the color and how much the stylist cut my hair. I was very adamant about the color and I didn't want a lot cut off. The owner refused to listen to any of my concerns and was very nasty and when I asked to see the videotape that she said she had she refused to show it to me. She is recording conversations that you have with your stylist without your knowledg. I have never had a salon owner treat me the way that this owner did. I do not recommend you going to this salon if you care about your hair and want your hair to be done the way you want not the way they think it should be done. Owner continued to talk about a video she had and when I said she was saying things that were not true and to show me the video she refused. I cannot express what a horrible experience this was.

We talked a bit about what I wanted and I knew I wanted a change and color but not much beyond that. She assured me I'd be in good hands with Hayley. Hayley was great. She brought out color swatches and talked through some different options. There's a cute waiting area in a quiet space in the back while your color sets as well. Perfect to enjoy a cup of coffee. They have heated towels for your neck/head during your shampoo as well. Hayley was so sweet and answered any questions I had without ever being sales person-y or pushy (when should I get my color touched up? Should I do more or less product with my hair having such a fine texture? Etc. ) I'm so happy with how it turned out. I wanted a rich brunette with fall highlights you could see but not Kelly Clarkson chunky. So happy and I've already booked my follow up.

I have had my haircut, colored roots, highlighted, and had a Brazilian hair treatment and all services are done professionally with explanation of how hair will react to the chemicals. Right off the bat, I'm not particularly inclined to be interested in ruling the worlds. What I am interested in is telling you a bit about how I found Susie, or maybe how she found me? I dunno, that probably doesn't matter much either, I mean, who found who, right? Here's my long story short version. We're 'transplants' to this 'neck o' the woods' & my hair was sortof unruly, even for me ... so I walked into a local hair salon, 'Fantastic Sams' which was close to where we had planted ourselves. Susie wasn't even supposed to be working that day ... apparently forces not understood by mere mortals were @ work that day. What else can I say? Only that Susie took the time to get to know me & my idiosyncratic ways? True. She was friendly, courteous & calming? True. She was confident, extremely competent & very skilled? Very true. That she added more than a bit of joy & magic to my already joyful & magical day? Very very true! That last is likely the most significant reason I recommend you check this place out for yourself. My experiences have only gotten better, that is, more joyful & more magical each time I go to see her. I went in as a walk-in and was met by the friendliest, coolest staff and the vibe was immaculate. Jake had availability for my tattoo, and he was incredible from start to finish. I couldn't find exact reference photos for the tattoo I had in mind, so I came in with a collection of tattoos saved on my phone that highlighted different concepts, line work, and details I liked. Jake genuinely seemed excited about the idea and took the time to go through every detail with me as we talked through how to bring the piece to life. He then drew up a design that captured exactly what I had envisioned. Once the stencil was ready, he was just as meticulous about placement as he was about the design itself. During the tattoo, you could tell how focused he was on making every detail perfect. Such a talented artist and genuinely great dude. It's a very clean place: brand new needle in package shown to me before tattoo work began. Thorough follow up care provided including great responsiveness to messages. Very reasonable price for such quality work.

To note, the stylist did not explain to me that she didn't feel confident in her ability to blow my hair out. She made ONE comment that a piece of hair wasn't curling, and I said she can use the iron on that section if needed. I was also able to clarify that the stylist did NOT ask someone else to step in until AFTER my hair was "done". If this was communicated to me at ANY point during my appointment, I would have gladly had someone else who felt confident in their ability to blow my hair out step in. Lastly, I was able to clarify that no, it was never mentioned that my deposit would be refunded. No mention of that was made while I was there. I am glad I was able to clarify these points, and I will take Renee up on having someone else blow out my hair another time. Looking forward to a better experience next time! ----------- Original review: The only service I can speak to is the blowout- the other services may be great, but words can't even describe how unacceptably horrible this blowout is. This blowout took 2 HOURS, and my hair is a curled mess and not at all a voluminous blowout. Not only did specifically say I wanted a 90s style blowout with lots of root volume, I even shared 2 photos and mentioned that when I do my blowouts at home I put the sections in rollers after drying to achieve the desired look. All of that was completely ignored. I mentioned that I was ok with using the curling iron if needed, but again, my goal was a blowout look. Instead I got a head full of ratty curls. The owner did offer to have someone re blow it out. I appreciated that, and I would have gladly taken them up on this offer if I hadn't already been there for 2 hours. I left incredibly disappointed at the subpar quality. I hope they enjoyed my $25 deposit. Please save your time and blow dry your hair at home or go literally ANYWHERE else.

I had to get my entire hair redone because when I got home, I noticed how patchy she had put highlights in. There were large gaps and dark spots on my crown. I reached out and got my hair fixed the very next day. I would 100% not recommend esthetician services. I paid $60 for a chemical peel--which I thought was suspiciously low. When I got there, the esthetician told me their chemical peels don't cause peeling (red flag) and I would have to get a mild chemical peel because it was my first peel with them. I told them I've gotten many chemical peels and treatments on my face so I needed something strong. The esthetician ignored me and did what she wanted. The "peel" was pretty pathetic (3 minutes for the whole process). I saw zero results. At the end of the peel she tried to sell me a moisturizer that cost $60, that price was including a "discount." No one wants to be feel forced to buy a product that cost the same as the service, especially after leaving unhappy. My rating only reflects the hair services and how willing Ashley was to fix her mistake.
