Kennedy,…read more1964 half dollars a roll of 40\n How is this curious of what the value Of that rule was after showing the gentleman inside the store, he carefully unwrapped one end of that roll and pulled 1 coin out noticing that it was never circulated pristine condition, he continued to look at it, and telling me that the value of that coin at that point was around 25 to $30. Apiece, give or take that makes even worth about 1000 to $1200 for the role. I said, thank you and I proceed to leave. I was there with a friend of mine. By the way, he asked me, did I want to make a loan on him, I'd never been to a pawn store before I never did any type of business. That that's what I mean, he said you can borrow on top of those. So I decided yes, but why don't I take a loan, he said, how much do you want and I said how about a $100? He said, OK, he filled out the paperwork. And I left with my friend using that $one00 to take us out to lunch and have a good afternoon think I would go back to the store and pay that $one00 back the following week. When I got paid, which I did when I went back to this time, I was by myself, I went back to the pay for the the loan. The gentleman had given me And the cost of how much intereste it was to, for me to be able to take that loan, it wasn't much at all, we completed the paperwork transact, giving him my pawn slip, this is been bothering me now. For 2 years, he went in the back room, came back with a Brown paper bag and emptied out 40 half dollars circulated coins on the counter. I was in complete shock. He proceeded to stack them up on top of each other. And the first thing I said was this or not my coins, you know, these are not my coins, what are you doing? You switched coins on me, what happened to the one with the orange wrapper? The 40 coins in the wrapper. He perceived to say that he didn't know what I was talking about, I was furious another gentleman that worked there ball head a guy with glasses comes over, says, sir, can I help you, I to explain to him what I just said and he said, there is no way anybody could have switched coins with you, because it goes the locked safe and we have no access what are you talking about? Both you guys have access to course, you guys switch coins with me. You giving me this beat up coins right here on this countertop, for exchange about pristine, never circulated, coins and I didn't think nothing never, but they knew I never had pictures of it, I never took pictures of the coins that I had no It's going to pawn shops. I didn't think this would happen if I thought about that happening. But just it happened, and he got me, I walked outside with a Brown bag, so mad at shaking, like a leaf on a tree, I put the coins in my car walked back in there with my cell phone and started taking pictures of these 2 Gentlemen and they were starting to get upset with me. I was videotaping the store inside and out I went to the cars and took pictures and videos of both their cars and the outside of their building as I'm doing this, the ball headed, gentlemen came out and asked me what I was doing. I told them that I was an independent journalist doing a story on pawn shops, he did said, sir, can you come back tomorrow morning and we'll fix the problem that yo I said sure proceeded to my car and left.\n The next morning I came in and a boy, man, yeah, can I help you like he never met me before. So what are you talking about? We're going to fix the problem that I have with these 40. John F. I'm a gentleman, I'm 66 years old, this happened about 2 years ago, and it'\n S been. Ra anxiety has happened because of this.\n I'm still in shock thinking that, how dare them, but again, thinking, how often does this happen or how many people they have they done this to I bet there have been a lot of people in the same issues that I was in I don't that this review helps others to be able to protect themselves by doing this type of transaction. Here is what he…read morehad to say, "In the battery business there are only so many manufactures and thousand of battery dealers. So a lot of batteries sold at various stores can potentially come from the same manufacture so if you peeled a label off to find another you discovered the secret. For example Johnson control makes the wal mart everstart battery and also the Interstate battery. so my manufacture was low on our labeled battery and slapped it over the overstock batteries that were already labeld with someone else brand. So understand we are not labeling good labels over cheap batteries. Also if I didn't warranty a battery it was because it was past its warranty period and therefore the manufacture won't reimbursed me so why should I be out money if you paid for a specific warranty period and are past it there is nothing I can do. Thanks for at least saying our place looks cool. Oh Wal Mart doesn't install batteries for free either but your better off sticking with them." I will give All American Battery a second chance.

I prefer to patronize local businesses in Lake Havasu. I have been going to All American Battery…read morefor six years. I have eight vehicles and have purchased many batteries from them. One of the reasons I go here is because they always clip on a backup power source to maintain the electronic settings. However, today I needed a battery for my 2006 Corvette. It has aftermarket electronics that lose all programming upon power loss. When the technician began removing the cables, I asked him if he was going to connect a backup power supply. He said, "It isn't worth the time" (My time or his)? When he was finished, he said that the price of the battery was more than he had quoted but that he would do me a favor and charge me the price he originally quoted. Not only do I have to reprogram the electronics, but the electric windows have to be re indexed. At checkout I told him that the reason I come here is because they use the backup power supply. He then said that "The power supply they had, had blown up and the Boss hadn't replaced it" They charge a premium price here that I didn't mind paying in the past because of the service. By the way, All American Battery is now Motive Energy. It appears that All American Battery had sold. I tried to leave a review on the website for Motive Energy, but they don't have a place for that.
