Employees were allowed to compete against paying guests, and staff regulars decided the votes -- totally unfair and misleading. The contest started late, the crowd left, and it felt like false advertising to anyone who put real effort into their costume. On a side note, management should really fix the broken toilets and clean up the overgrown weeds outside -- it looks neglected and unprofessional. The bartenders need proper training before being thrown into busy weekend events. I was told they didn't have quarters for pool even though they charge for it, and one bartender didn't even know what 44 North was -- an Idaho-made product this bar has always carried. Guests deserve transparency, fair treatment, and basic competence from staff if this place wants to maintain its reputation. There's a reason so many people choose The Torch instead.
