My garage door spring broke and they called back quickly, came out and replaced it that day. Very reasonable price. They quoted a price to replace the opener. We agreed to do that in December. In Dec. Tommy came out and did an adjustment; the door was still acting up...we decided to go ahead & replace the opener that Friday. I called the main number Friday morning and left a message, asking what time they would come do the work. I had a number of things I needed to do that day and wanted to schedule out my time. No one called me back; I repeatedly texted and called again, finally reached Richard at 1:30 who said he hadn't been able to reach Tommy either. He explained Tommy had been sick the day before and he had another customer looking for him as well. We decided to reschedule for the following Wed; Richard said he could do it himself if Tommy wasn't available. I was fine with that arrangement. I called the following Wed., when they were supposed to do the work, no answer on either of the numbers. My door opener stopped working altogether Thursday morning. I called again, said I would have to call another garage door company if I didn't hear back from them. Gave them an hour and then called Lakewood Garage Doors. Richard called me later that morning and said he was really sick. I would never want anyone to work when they're ill but I do expect someone to call and tell me what's going on so I'm not captive in my house, waiting. I suspect they need to hire an office manager or someone that can communicate with customers.
