SkyRun Vacation Rentals - squeaking, sagging mattress

    SkyRun Vacation Rentals

Just checked out of Sky Run rentals in Snowmass Colorado. DONT RENT THERE. Inaccurate description…read more The refrigerator did not reach barely above luke warm. Our neighbors said the same thing. Called and they said they would fix it but did not. Went a week with lukewarm eggs. Milk, meat, etc. Proptert details said they had iron and board but they did not. Also stated that all unites had microwaves but ours did not. So the food we cooked we had to reheat in the over. Pots and pans were disgusting, sheets had stains on them. The freezer had the owners facial products in the ice box (SKIN ROLER DEVICE).... Disgusting. We had to take 5 minute showers because the hot water would go out quickly. First 2 nights I tool cold showers. The propert listing shows a beautiful, open utility closet with a stacked washer and dryer set. We got there and the owners stuff was stacked to the top of the closet and the door was closed with a lock on it but they forgot to lock it. We could not even open the washer and dryer to use them because there was so much stuff. the listing clearly stated WASHER. When addressing this with the property owner she did nothing to fix the refrigerator issue. She stated the washer and dryer were not for guest use. After leaving a review in Vrbo, they gave us a 1 star rating as guests lol. All we asked for them to fix thru our entire stay was the refrigerator. Did not complain at all, not, once about anything else. DONT STAY THERE. It was a complete bomb. 2700 bucks for a week with lukewarm food, lack of warm water, and no access to the washer that they clearly advertise.

Our expensive family vacation was completely ruined by SkyRun, and their handling of the situation…read morewas nothing short of deceptive. We arrived at our rental to find major appliances completely broken, leaving us unable to cook or even make coffee by the pool. Worse, advertised amenities like a beach cart were missing, forcing us to lug heavy gear by hand. The property itself was much older and smaller than the deceptive listing photos suggested. However, the physical issues with the house pale in comparison to SkyRun's shocking disregard for guest safety and professional ethics: Severe Security Breaches: SkyRun handed out our private door passcode to random "trusted neighbors" and a repairman so they could enter during our stay. They even gave my personal phone number to the repairman to text me directly. After multiple strangers had access to our code, they flat-out refused our request to change the passcode. Evading a Paper Trail: The rental agent went out of her way to keep all communication off the booking platform. She refused to put anything in writing, insisted on phone calls, and actively tried to solicit us to bypass the platform for future bookings in exchange for a direct discount. Bait-and-Switch Refund & Extortion: The agent explicitly promised us a full refund over the phone if we checked out early. Once we vacated, she backtracked, offering less than half and claiming "full refund" only meant their "company profit" portion. They then held even that partial refund hostage, refusing to release a single penny unless we signed a legal document promising not to leave them a bad review. We refused to be bribed into silence. We bypassed SkyRun entirely, took our evidence directly to platform support, and secured our $1,000 refund through them. Dealing with this company was an absolute vacation killer. Do not trust SkyRun with your money, your vacation, or your family's safety.

Before starting the review I would like to let everyone know we don't usually leave bad reviews (or…read moreany reviews for that matter), but with the terrible experience that we had we feel a review is our only way to express our frustration with this company. We are very displeased with PMI Summit Colorado. We booked our reservation though VRBO in April 2025 for our large family ski trip set for March 2026. After crossing the state line into CO we called PMI Summit Colorado to find out why we had not received check-in instructions as we usually receive them 1 day before or at least the morning of our stay. After 2 hrs on the phone with PMI they stated they never received a booking from VRBO for our stay and that the property had been reserved in October of 2025 for 3 weeks during March of 2026. We had to scramble to find another place to stay for 4 nights with a large family during one of Colorado's busiest times of year. After further investigating, we found out PMI cancelled our reservation once they had a booking set for a longer stay likely at a higher rate than what we had booked it for. PMI had cancelled our reservation without any cause and did not notify VRBO of the cancellation. We know this because our credit card report shows charges for the hold fees from both VRBO and PMI during April of 2025 then a credit from PMI for the hold fee during October 2025. We searched our email to see if PMI notified us of the cancellation and found an email that we would not have opened due to it looking like spam from PMI cancelling our reservation without cause or any explanation. PMI lied on the phone saying they had not received the booking from VRBO. It was unethical of PMI to cancel our reservation because a reservation for longer stay, likely at a higher rate was requested by another party. PMI did not notify VRBO of the cancellation as VRBO still showed the trip as reserved and continued to send notifications as trip came closer. PMI left us stranded in CO without any support. Long story short, do not book with this company, even through VRBO. They will cancel your reservation without cause if they have a better deal on the line. I will never us this company again, and I only hope that this will help guide future families to a better experience than we had.

PMI managed short-term rentals for our cabin for three years. I appreciated that they were able to…read moreclean on the day of each renter's departure, allowing us to do a one-day turnarounds, so I'm awarding two stars instead of one. But there are many problems. They charge $60 to inspect the property after housekeeping completes their work. Supposedly that pays for them to look for damage or theft and make sure furnishings are returned to their original location. However, we were never notified of obvious damage following rentals and they paid no attention to our requests related to the arrangement of furnishings. In fact, our requests related to furnishings were treated with the same disdain as every other contact we had with this company. Their billing practices were also a concern. They would add charges to their invoices without any notice or discussion. If a renter called and asked them to provides services, we never found out until there was no chance of recovering those costs from the renter. Most recently they added a $55 for every rental for "trash removal". When we questioned this, the response was their typical disregard for us. Then we terminated our service because, at that point, they were charging $350 per rental. They had raised their prices without any agreement from us. Then they charged another $200 for early termination! (Termination of a price structure we had never agreed to.) Over the two years of experiencing their business practices and attitudes, I simply paid whatever they charge because I have no doubt these people would have put a lien on our property. This is a nasty business and I suggest that you stay away.

From day one, the level of professionalism, communication, and market knowledge stood out. Anne and Kat kept us updated with detailed analytics on showings, prospect activity, and market interest throughout the listing process, which gave us real confidence in our pricing and strategy. The property preparation, positioning, and marketing were truly best in class. The photography, interactive staging, and overall online presentation of our listing were exceptional. Beyond the results, what really set Anne and the team apart was the personal touches. She and her team treated us like partners in the process, not just clients, welcoming feedback and adjusting quickly whenever needed. The thoughtful gestures along the way made the entire experience feel personal, not transactional. If you're buying or selling in the Frisco/Summit County area, we can't recommend Anne Skinner and her team at Keller Williams highly enough. We felt supported every step of the way and would work with them again without hesitation.

I re-entered my card info 2 different times and kept having issues. The morning of our arrival, I received an email saying that if I don't enter payment information, my reservation will be cancelled. I entered in a new card and called to try and sort it over the phone. No answer. Left a voicemail, and hoped that the new card information worked. Shortly after I received a cancellation email. Again, I called - No answer again. So I left another voicemail. I was able to get a hold of a person via the sales office number, who was finally able to get someone to call me back. They told me that the room was already rebooked because there is a wait list (mind you, I booked the room the night before our stay) and that there was absolutely nothing they could do, leaving us to find a place on our own. The lack of communication and they way they communicated the issue was completely unprofessional. For someone looking to have your property manage here, I can only assume that the other services they provide are equally as unprofessional. I'd want the piece of mind that the company managing my guests are treating them with the utmost importance. Next time, I'll be sure to avoid any property managed by this company.

We were going to be traveling to an event that has been tragically canceled. Unfortunately for my large group of 16 the majority of us had to cancel due to virus outbreak for safety and health issues. I was hoping to get a full refund due to the "epidemic disease and illness" section in airbnb's "extenuating circumstances" policy, but I was sadly mistaken. Every time I mention it to the hosts they always respond with the same soulless automated response of "we are sticking to our refund policy". I understand that they are a business and stick to policies, but I thought being in a pandemic there would a little sympathy. There is no sympathy to be found on their part even though multiple people in our party are currently sick with the coronavirus and have been advised to Quarantine. Currently I am waiting to here from the airbnb support team to see if I will be losing over $700 to this greedy terrible organization. My advice if you are looking for an airbnb go with literally any other option than the listings provided by this team. They do not treat you with respect and they do not treat you like any normal human would.
